The food was awful. I got a fish sandwich the was so small and it had a bad taste to it also got a fish plate the fish was awful had a really bad taste to it the slaw you could tell it was old it had a slick and slimey taste to it l could not eat it in fear of getting sick. I spent almost $40 there. Needless to say l want be back. It was also freezing cold in there!

DISGUSTING! Ought to be put out of business for what they sent me! Ordered a pair of fried crabs and I got some soft, doughy soaked in grease mess! Whoever the person was who sent this, KARMA! Could have sent this to an elderly person and they ate it would have made them sick all of this grease! They knew when they handled it that the grease was dripping from swimming in it! What makes it even worse, I ordered when they just opened at 1!

Was exited to get some fried crabs some this spot. The service was good but the crabs, crab cake and steamed shrimp that I ordered lack flavor. Everything was just bland not seasoned very well at all. Very very disappointed after spending almost $90.

I Call first it was told large males was 55 a dozen when I got here the young man said it was 60 . The large males are not large at all. The meat is dry and it’s not tasty. A strange taste.,I threw them away and will never go there again. A waste of money

I use to go to this place when I lived in VA Beach. When I come to visit, I look forward to getting the fried crabs. Unfortunately, this time it was very disappointing. Over priced, bland and crab cake platter had a piece of corn bread look.like a slice if butter ( very small), the size of the patties was so small in a large roll. The fried crabs- medium, were the size of very small. Inally it had a renk smell/taste. I ended up throwing it away. Well, I’m sad to say, this won’t be a place I stop anymore when I come to visit.

10/10 food and customer service! Their fried crabs and whiting are amazing. The batter is always crispy and flavorful. I have been getting my crabs from Eddie’s for a few years and the customer service from Eddie, Sharon and Corey is always good.

I purchased a dozen fried and a dozen stem crabs. When I opened a fried crab there was a strong sour order. I thought maybe just a bad crab. Opening more of fried and stem crabs I was very disappointed.I try to support black owned businesses but sometimes it’s almost impossible. Had I looked at the reviews like I normally do. This wouldn’t have happened. Listening to a past customer from years ago.Please don’t serve people something you wouldn’t eat yourself! No I’m not making another trip to correct something that shouldn’t have happened. I don’t mind paying for good products in this case,what a waste. Lesson learned. I will never recommend Eddie’s to anyone. They should be ashamed of themselves taking advantage of the community and people’s hard earned money. Nothing good will come from that. Please don’t chance this place. Go elsewhere. Just disgusting representation of a minority owned business.

Eddie’s has gone down really bad. I ordered 3 pair large male fried crabs. $12.99 a pair…There were only 2 crabs that the meat could be eaten. All the crabs were medium so they added a few more instead of saying they didn’t have Lg. Males. 1 was a female, 3 had ammonia smell and 1 was extremely mushy. This is my FINAL time purchasing from them. I ordered two weeks ago by delivery and it was the same result. I thought me going directly there it would be different.

Eddie’s never disappoints, the customer service from Corey and the owner is always very good. I was surprised that in October the crabs were so meaty and juicy as the are in the summer. My daughter tried the new item on the menu which were the crab balls. She finished them before we made it to the car.
