I have yet to have a bad experience here. Ruth Chris always provides amazing atmosphere, service and food! Whether we are celebrating something or I come and have dinner at the bar alone as a treat, the food is absolutely the best! The petite filet Oscar style with sweet potato casserole and an old fashion is my favorite meal here! Cooked to perfection every time! We had large parties of 12 and ther service was phenomenal as well. Hands down the only place I want to eat a steak at.

My fiancé and I came here on New Year’s Eve for our FIRST time and the food was AMAZING. We got the trio special with the tomahawk 2 lobster tails that were huge and a bottle of wine and We still can’t stop talking about it ! However the service was not all that great. I get that it was a holiday so I’m sure it was a lot going on but our server didn’t talk to us about anything on the menu mind you we never been here before then we didn’t get our wine until our food basically came out. Once our food came out she didn’t check on us at all to make sure everything was ok or to make sure we didn’t need anything. There was 3 other tables she had next to us and she checked on all of them, looked at us then walked the other way. THEN when we were done it took her forever to come to us and ask if we wanted boxes to go. She would continue to look and avoid us for some reason. For how much we pay at this establishment and we can’t even have our server at least check on us is ridiculous. We didn’t even want desert because we were just ready to go and didn’t want to deal with it anymore. Other serves were so nice and helped them with whatever they needed and we kept saying I wish they were our server. Moral of the story food amazing but I left it 4 starts instead of 5 because of service .. AND the manager jimmy? I think was him name sooo awesome ! We will come back for him and the food!

We had a great experience at Eddie Merlot’s, and Amber set the tone for the entire evening. From the moment we walked in, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel genuinely welcome. She was professional, friendly, and handled everything smoothly, even while managing a busy dining room.

She got us seated quickly, kept things organized, and made sure we were comfortable right away. You can tell she takes pride in her job and cares about the guest experience.

We’ll absolutely be back!

The food was fantastic, however the service did leave a bit to be desired. Food was rather slow to arrive and took a long time to clear empty plates. That said, the manager was attentive and was quick to address the issues. We sat in the bar area and were impressed by the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

The menu offered a large selection of apps and sides, and was reasonably priced for an upscale restaurant. The pot stickers and back wrapped bbq shrimp were both excellent. Steaks were well seasoned and cooked to perfection, though you could tell they sat for a bit before being brought to the table. The calamari was a bit undercooked and oysters had bits of shell in them, but overall the food was really good.

I would certainly recommend, great menu options and good food at reasonable prices for this type of establishment.

Our waitress, Toyosi, was amazing. She was kind, prompt and provided us a fantastic experience. If you’re able to request a waitress I would highly recommend her. Also, the food came out absolutely perfect. Our party of 11 didn’t have a single complaint!

We were in town visiting our daughter and son-in-law and they insisted we go to Eddie Merlot. From the moment we stepped through the door, Amber made us feel like we were regulars. She answered my questions about the origins of the restaurant. Usually, hosts/hostess are quick to take you to your seat and move on. It’s obvious Amber enjoys her job. We very much enjoyed our meals. Most of us went for sea bass and my husband had elk. Everything was delicious. Food was delivered promptly. We will be back!

Stephen my waiter and Jess made my meal. They went above ad beyond to give me exceptional service. The trio medallions were excellent. The shrimp cocktail and wedge were delicious. The food, service was an extremely enjoyable experience. Both Jess and Stephen took time to explain the menu.

The food ess very good. The service is very friendly and always good. The manager comes by and checks on you. The place has good drink menu. If you are in a hurry, advise your server to fire you food at the same time as appetizers. Couple of the seats need repairs. Always enjoy my food from this location.

The service was spectacular from start to finish. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and it had lovely decor. The bisque was delightful as was the hot buttery bread. Mashed potatoes were divine. I had the Faroe Island salmon which was a bit dry and lacking in flavor. My friend had the steak and loved it. Overall a great outing.

Lamest White Russian ever. Devour Indy visit. Had upsized filet with crab bisque soup plus chocolate cake. Steak 100% edible no gristle and tender worth it. Soup so smooth and creamy flavorful. Cake portion huge and puts the meal carbs in overdrive. Decor a tad opulent gaudy and dated but likely catering not to yuppiedom when z eta but to senior deep picketers. Service strong but ended slightly down after $ paid with higher than usually requested print gratuity no direct eye contact which is telltale snub of the subtle sort. 4 not 5 stars not 100%.
