As anyone originally from DC knows this place is NOT the original nor descendant of the original Eddie Leonards. Many Asians have took over carry-outs and have left the original names intact. Whenever I visit home I will stop here or at the location in Oxon Hill. Place stays busy esp. on weekends and parking is limited. Food is decent but on par with the other 1,000 Asian carry-outs in the area.

Tonight, I had fried jumbo shrimp with fries. The fried shrimp were decent, but the fries had an unbearable smell. I couldn’t figure out what was going on, but they reeked as if they had been sitting out all day and then refried. After eating three fries, I started feeling nauseous, so I threw the rest away. Please be cautious and always smell your food, especially if it doesn’t smell right.

Eat alil bit closed it watched tv fell asleep next morning everything soggy sour smell food bad not even 24 hours. The rice were mushy just plain white rice and my chicken and black bean sauce. The peppers went from crunchy to mush within a few hours.

Got general tso’s chicken and shrimp and broccoli. They skimp you on both. The chicken balls are just batter. Half the portion was literally just fried dough. The shrimp and broccoli was mostly broccoli. The flavors were decent. The ladies are very off putting at the counter. It feels like they’re always talking about the customers. I got the Sesame chicken with white rice and French fries. My boyfriend got steak and cheese sub and meatloaf with mashed potatoes and potato salad and onion rings. Everything was great!! Will come back again. Cashier was friendly and helpful. I give it 5 stars definitely!!

Tonight, I decided not to cook but wanted pork chops. Looked online and found that Eddie Leonards in Waldorf offered a pork chop platter. Let me tell you, they were absolutely terrible. It’s one thing to not pass the “eye test” but the meal didn’t passed any test in regard to edible food.
The chops were dry, unseasoned, tough and the little breading that stayed on the meat was extremely soggy. I’ve never been more disappointed in a meal ordered on DoorDash in all my years utilizing the site.
This is not an indictment on DoorDash. Eddie Leonards, you should be ashamed of yourself for serving this mess.

The batch I received made me not want Chinese food for a long while. Fried rice was dry….beef and broccoli had a weird taste and the Mac and cheese was hard. Maybe it’s because I ordered at around 8 or 9 and they were about to close, but definitely will not be eating any Chinese food in a while and when I do, it won’t be from here
