Old school thin crust pizza made with love. Mr. D. makes an amazing pizza and garlic knots. My husband and I had a conversation with him while waiting for our pizza and knots to get done. 40+years this family has been here. I love me a mom and pop shop!

Visited this pizza shop on my way to the airport and it was such a lovely experience. The pizza was great, and the owner is so friendly! He offered my partner and I a sample slice so we could try the food first. We got the lunch specials which were only $6 for two slices and a soda. Wonderful hospitality, and there’s a lot of regulars here too. It is cash only so make sure you have some on hand.

Eddie Ds was a surprise. It has been here for years and never noticed it. When i went in I was transplanted to the 80s. The service was slow but everything is hand made i would call ahead to avoid a wait. The owner is nice and service is top notch treats everyone fantastic. The pizza! Holy moly. This was some good pizza. Crispy bottom good flavored sauce and just hit the spot. The decor can use some work and updates but dont change the food. This place is a hidden gem for pizza. Up there with Gabbys and Margarita. Try it out.

Delicious, great, classic pizza. The owner is friendly and knows all of his customers. Gave us a free slice while waiting for our pie to cook. The bottom was perfectly crispy, and the pepperoni was thick. Absolutely delicious highly recommend.

I’ve lived in New York City my whole life. From Brooklyn, to Queens and even the Bronx. I’ve tried pizza from all the 5 boroughs and non are as good as Eddies. You get a high quality slice with great service. You don’t get service like this from anywhere these days. When you go into Eddies you go back to a simple time where ingredients are fresh, conversations are warm and welcoming and the pizza is hot and delicious. Don’t sleep on this spot. It’s worth the trip and is some of the best pizza you can find in all of New York and Long Island

Wow! One of the best slices I’ve ever had in NYC! I was blown away! I unfortunately didn’t get to take a picture of the pies but at least I got a pic of two slices! It was so good that I even ate my 3rd slice cold! I never eat pizza cold so that’s how you know it was good lol

Originally we planned to get to Luigi’s in Parkslope Brooklyn, but encountered too many missed turns and traffic delays thus we needed something closer to JFK. So we happened thanks to the high rating in google, on finding Eddie D’s in Queens as our 1st New York pizza experience. We were immensely impressed! Eddie was accommodating and gracious. He told us he’s old school and been at it forty years. We had a chicken roll and a large pie. The best we’ve had. My only regret is we didn’t happen upon this place sooner! Next time we hope to go back soon so I can eat another cheese pizza and a chicken parm sub

First time in of course, I’ve gotta say Eddie the owner , really nice guy. Positive upbeat attitude. We conversed as a single cheese slice I ordered was heating up, I told em I was a big fan of trying New pizza , he quickly pulled out a small slice and said “well this ones on the house then” . That confidence already tells me this is going to be some good stuff. He also mentioned he’s been in business for 35 years. Pizza looks great nice and hot. Immediately I thought finally, it’s been a while since I had a really good slice of pizza. No flop whatsoever, the slice held its ground no sliding cheese which was excellent, a very unique tasty sauce that just blended in very good with the well cooked dough, very slight char. Crunchy crust that wasn’t excessive, just right. This guy is putting out some really good pizza! I’m sure the best in the area.

Great pizza. I had a friend keep telling me to go here. I live in Queens and its well worth the trip. The pizza was better than any slice we have in Queens. The crust is perfectly cooked and crispy, the sauce is very flavorful and the cheese just right. I knew upon walking in, it was going to be a home run. The scent of great pizza was in the air. The owner makes this pizza with true love. I am from Naples, Italy and know a great pie. I would definitely recommend this place for GREAT PIZZA!!!
