We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday with 45 family and friends of all ages at Eda’s early this year. Four musicians joined him onstage to play his favorite rock songs and we opened up the microphone for live band karaoke after dinner from a nearby restaurant.
All the staff at Eda’s were wonderful: Iris accommodated our wishes and did a great job setting up and staying for the event while two bartenders kept everyone properly lubricated. Todd ran sound and kept volume levels just right for the musicians, dancers and chatty wallflowers.
Everyone had a great time. If you are planning an event, especially one that includes live music, Eda’s is the place to be. We looked at other locations in the Asheville area but settled on Ida’s for its funky décor, cool stage and friendly folks.

Went to see Dylan Earl and Chris Seymore. The place was definitely a chill vibe, plenty of room inside to watch the show,play pool, pinball and dance. If it gets too crowded (it didn’t) they also have a huge porch outside with propane heat and a sweet firepit off to the side to hangout and you can actually see the stars! Looking forward to going back for another show.

This is a local hole in the wall place. We wanted to experience the locals so we found this place. It didn’t disappoint. There are pool tables ping pong shuffleboard pinball machine and plenty of room. We went on trivia night, it was a blast. We didn’t eat they just had hot dogs but we didn’t partake. They have a fire pit outside which everyone hung around after trivia. Very interesting place. Very nice people very welcoming unique decor.

They aren’t kidding about it being a hideaway! Went for the Tuesday Bluegrass Jam. Lots of talented acoustic musicians sitting in a circle…jamming. I loved it.
The place itself has a welcoming vibe, decor is quirky and interesting. Two pool tables, a covered porch. Drinks are very reasonably priced. Very nice bartender. They offer hot dogs with a variety of fixins if you’re hungry.

Definitely a hidden gem. Look forward going back. Staff was friendly and I love that one is able to put your name on a list to play billiards. Nice way to meet others without having to feel awkward.

This is one of our favorite bars! Nick is always very welcoming and informative on the different liquors they offer. The live music they have here is always a blast. Def try the Amaro pop, can only get it here! They have a great billiard crowd and outdoor shuffleboard, ping pong, pinball, and a Golden Tee machine.
