A little hidden place in Odessa. This is the bbq place that should be featured on “Landman”. Excellent bbq, greens, tater salad. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. My picture doesn’t do it justice. I had eaten half of it before I took the picture.

This is a great little hole in the wall if you want good Barbeque meat from a good bunch of people. We stopped at this place looking for a quick bite during a buisness trip. It was so good, we had to come back another day with more co-workers before leaving town. All the meat is amazing! Brisket and ribs so tender you can cut them with your fork like butter. The staff is very friendly. Ed is a great guy and he will treat you right. Just remember to save room for that peach cobler. Your belly will thank you later.

Excellent chop beef sandwich, really enjoyed the sweet taste. The tea was great as well. Kel provided excellent service and I highly recommend speaking to him. I would however suggest examining your total. For two Brown bag specials which is two chopped beef sandwiches. Two small bags of chips and two drinks was $29.00 .

I ran across this little place in my travels and decided to give it a whirl. Only a few tables here of you choose to dine in like I did. The staff was SUPER FRIENDLY. There is table service here, and you pay at the counter when done. I got the special of the day, “smoked ribeye.” This was one of the best steaks I’d ever put in my mouth. Wow! They only do the once a month the owner said. What a rich smokey flavor with their twist on seasoning. This thing was so tender, it literally fell apart. I had potatoes salad and beans with a pickled jalapeño and onion slices. This meal was incredible. Their sweet tea is pretty sweet work a good tea flavor. I also got the peach cobbler with ice cream, definitely homemade, wow! If your ever in the area stop in and give them a shot. 2 thumbs up!!

Good experience service was great and everyone was friendly. Had the sausage and brisket plate with greens and Mac and cheese. Also had the steak at a different visit the next day with German chocolate cake and peach cobler for deserts with all of it being excellent. Will visit again when in town

I hate leaving bad reviews to small businesses because I know how much it hurts(more emotionally than financially). However, this was definitely not BBQ. I came today on 12/20/25 for a chopped brisket sandwich but I received something closer to a sloppy Jo. No smoke flavor or BBQ smell at all. $11.20 is overpriced for what I received and was left hungry. Im sorry but it was a complete waste of time and money. The service was good and the guy at the counter did a great job.

Do not go there if you are offended by cussing , Loud upnageous talking , talking on phone to friends when he is supposed to be helping you. No sodas at all what kind of restaurant don’t have Sodas. Prices are very high except for the brown bag special , it was good . If you go wear any team jersey other than Dallas and might get a discount.

I must say the Brisket and BBQ Chicken over a Spud was absolutely delicious. I intentionally didn’t eat breakfast in anticipation . Ate half and I was full Ended up taking half home . Ed(owner) was there and provided great conversation and interaction with everyone who came and went. Marsha(Stewardess) showed prompt attention and recommended favorites and brought a cold drink(Peach Tea) to sip on while the food was being prepared. The beauty of a place like this is the awesome BBQ, quaint size of the location and the interactive customer service and of course Motown music in the background . The environment was very clean and that’s not normal in a BBQ joint.

A good little bbq shack on the Southside of Odessa. I entered upon. The tiny dining room me and my brother on a rainy day. We ordered the two meat plate, Brisket and Ribs, because what else is there! I want to taste the good stuff! It comes out about 10 mins later. Came Out with two sides and meat was already smothered in sauce. Well me personally I’d like to see that on the side because not everyone likes sauce on there Brisket. So I dig right into the ribs! The meat was falling off the bone, tender and good smoke flavor. Could have used a little more seasoning but pretty good. The Brisket was tender, probably a little overcooked cause it all came out chopped, but still good. Not the best Brisket I’ve ever had, but imagine your Uncle Ed cooking a Brisket in the backyard, well that’s exactly how it tasted! It was a good meal! Portion. Was not big but not small, filing enough! The star was the Cornbread!@ fantastic!! I’m gonna give em a 3.5 out of 5 for this good backyard Brisket style bbq! Give em a try!
