Éclair French Café is such a charming little spot. I came here on a date and it was the perfect atmosphere — cozy, stylish, and just romantic enough without trying too hard. The Paris mural and warm lighting make it feel special.
I LOVED the turkey sandwich — super fresh, perfectly toasted, and packed with flavor. The vanilla latte was smooth and delicious. We also ordered the caramel cheesecake… and I assume it was incredible because my date ate every single bite before I could really get back to it.
Great food, great vibe, and definitely a place I’ll be back to.

I had a fantastic experience at Eclair French Cafe in Daybreak! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a cozy charm that makes it perfect for grabbing a treat or catching up with a friend. The selection of pastries and coffee was wonderful, each eclair and dessert looked beautiful and tasted even better. I appreciated the care put into every detail, from the presentation to the rich, fresh flavors. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit feel personal and enjoyable. Whether you’re stopping by for a sweet pick-me-up or a relaxing coffee break, this place is definitely worth a visit

I was excited to have a new restaurant in Daybreak and Eclair looks very promising. I went in on a Monday morning probably a few minutes after they opened. The restaurant is clean. There was a group of customer there and the restaurant is quite empty. I did my research on the menu before I went in so I kinda know what I wanted. Unfortunately, a lot of stuff on their website weren’t available. There are indeed not many things available. I decided to go with alternatives instead. Almost eclair instead of original and lemon tart instead of original. The staff was ok, I guess. She wasn’t super friendly and when I asked if the original eclair isn’t available she just simply said “no” and didn’t try to upsell the available items. Anyhow, after I ordered the almost eclair, she started packing without asking if I wanted anything else and when I said I also wanted a tart she then realized the box she was preparing might be too small. No big deal—won’t say she was rude or anything just a note to the owner that staff can be a bit friendlier. Once I got home, I tried the bakery and the tart was good—I would say standard for the price point. The eclair was the main thing I was excited about. Yet, it came short of my expectation. Mainly this is due to the flavor. It’s not bad, again standard for the price point (but gotta say not special considering it’s the name of the shop) but they put pistachio in their cream. I know people are crazy about pistachio recently and adding it in the almond eclair might be ok; however, almond eclair should taste like almond, not pistachio. I couldn’t taste almond whatsoever because pistachio smell and flavor dominate everything. Too bad.

I visited this lovely place today and I’m truly impressed! The coffee was perfectly made, and the éclair was absolutely delicious — fresh, light, and full of flavor. I loved it so much that I bought three more to take home for my family!
The café is very clean and cozy, the coffee is served in proper cups, and I really appreciate that the utensils are not plastic — such a nice touch.
If I could suggest one small improvement, it would be for the staff to wear aprons and keep their hair neatly tied back. That would make the experience even more perfect.
I will definitely be coming back and recommending this café to my friends!

We were so excited to try it out while walking our dogs. I got a peach Bellini, mojito, and a key lime tarte. I think maybe someone forgot to add the lime juice because there wasn’t even a hint of lime, other than the tiny lime piece I squeezed on it. My peach drink was decent, but my daughter’s mojito mocktail tasted like “toothpaste” per her fiance, her and my son. Just kinda think that for $5.50 for a drink it would maybe be some fresh juices not just syrup and a garnish but it was just syrup mix. I kinda worry after going in there today that it’s going to end up like spilled milk, and have too many teens running it. The girls today just had their backs turned to the counter, while I’m pretty sure they were making drinks for themselves.
I will say that everything in the cabinet looked amazing so I’ll try it again. Such a cute place inside.

What a welcome addition to the neighborhood! We’ve had macaroons, croissants, chocolate croissants, and creamy tomato soup. Everything has been delicious. And the staff is so friendly. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful interior and the sand which, coffee, and pastries are all so fresh. This place is truly a delight. Happy to know we finally have a late night coffee and pastrie shop like I’m used to in sugarhouse.
