My partner and I visited here yesterday for the first time. We ordered the stew snapper and an oxtail plate. The fish had a delicious flavor but was a tad bit dry. The oxtails were not a favorite either, we have definitely had better. The service was top tier and the restaurant itself had a good vibe, reminded me of back home. We also ordered the goat soup, the flavor was absolutely delicious. We would still be back to visit to try their other selections even though this time was not a complete success.

I can easily separate a restaurant and its service. If the food is no good, there’s no reason to ever go back. This place definitely has food worth going back for. Beef patty is a 10/10, and I’m speaking from eating the best Jamaica had to offer.

I sipped by for a chicken patty. They didn’t have any. So I got a beef and asked for cheese. The guy told me to go in the fridge behind me to get one. Very unprofessional and also extremely unsanitary. I will never go here again. Might I add, the beef patty was disgusting. Honestly I don’t know how they’re in business. We live and we learn.

It’s a little spot in Ft Pierce where i get curry goat whenever I’m nearby. I’ve only done take-out, and the food has been good so far.

I used to love going to Eckels on orange ave but since Jermaine no longer works don’t I’ll be going there much anymore or at all I brought some oxtails the rice was mushy and the oxtail had no taste it’s a shame cause it was my go too spot
