The purple rice was a nice surprise! Fresh fish very nicely prepared for takeout. Love that they lined the takeout box with foil, and added the grass separators between nigiri – super considerate!
Seemed to be pretty popular for weekday lunch. Will be back!

Came in on a Friday, seemed to be pretty steady amount of people, very clean, good food, LOVE the spicy garlic edamame, not very spicy but it was perfect in my opinion.
I like the atmosphere, our server was efficient and kind. Food came out quick!
My husband and I will come back

It’s a decent spot located near the Albertsons. The sushi was pretty good—not the best I’ve had—but the use of black rice was an interesting touch. The service stood out as the highlight; our order arrived quickly, and the server was great. They also offer a full menu beyond sushi. It’s worth a try if you’re in the area.

We were looking to try a new spot for lunch on Thursday and came across Echo Sushi. We decided to check it out and so glad we did. The menu has some really great options. I settled instantly on the Dumpling Ramen which was on their Specials list for the day. We also ordered egg rolls and the spicy pork. Service was great throughout our lunch. The location is small, but didn’t feel too cramped. The ramen has some amazing flavor, was spicy and the dumplings were delicious. It didn’t have any huge veggies etc in it, but honestly it was perfect as is. The egg rolls were crispy and so good. The pork was ok, but portion was small. If it had not included rice, gyoza etc I think my husband would’ve been starving. Next time we’ll have to try some sushi.

I stopped by because I saw their flag on Carefree Hwy and it sounded like it could be a new stop. I was the only person in the restaurant at 12:30 pm. I should have run away! I ordered hot tea and I got a cup with a teabag. I ordered some regular tuna sushi-mi and it was fair but when I got the bill they charged me for Blue-Fin tuna!! That was NOT Blue Fin! I thought of trying the spicy seafood ramen. It came in a giant bowl with a giant spoon. The waitress brought a plastic bin for the “shells”?? The clams and mussels were very small, the meats were smaller than a dime. They had some giant shrimp in the bowl as well, but they were not processed in any way. I had to use my hands to peel apart the scorching hot shrimp. The legs and shell were still on the meat. Not a good presentation what so ever. I was disgusted by the time I got the bill. A couple more folks arrived as I was finishing up. With all the great sushi & Japanese restaurants, skip this low-end hole in the wall!

Always great fresh sushi and friendly service from all staff members. I travel 40 minutes to eat here so that tells you how good this place is. They offer black rice which is so tasty and it is more healthy than white rice. The Philadelphia Roll is truly the best I have ever had anywhere. Their salmon is the best, melts in your mouth very tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Echo Sushi is by far the best sushi place I’ve discovered in Arizona. The freshness and quality of their fish are consistently impressive. This cozy, mom-and-pop sushi shop has a charm that stands out—it’s not a large production, just the owner and a few dedicated staff members creating amazing dishes. We absolutely love visiting, though it’s about an hour’s drive from our home, making it a bit challenging to go frequently. However, whenever we’re in the area, this is our go-to spot for sushi! We highly recommend it!
