We were incredibly happy with the quality of the authentic Japanese food here at Ebisu. The restaurant has been in existence for over three decades, and it’s easily one of the best we’ve been to in Florida. They bring fresh fish from Japan and we enjoyed the sushi/sashimi boat and unadon. A restaurant that has hosted Celine Dion and Takanohana Kōji, this restaurant is well worth a trip if you want authentic Japanese food.

We enjoyed the cosy, friendly atmosphere here and noticed other families and couples seemed happy too. Our meals included Okonomiyaki, fried chicken bites (karaage), fried chicken dinner (Katsu don), pork ramen, and an amazing sushi boat! Every dish was very good and so filling we took home enough for another meal. Definitely will be back for more authentic Japanese dishes!

To preface this, I rarely write restaurant reviews. My girlfriend and I went here because a friend recommended it. I did not expect Ebisu to be some of the best Japanese food I have ever had in my life (including the establishments in Japan)! We went during happy hour, which had incredible prices for a good portion of food. The establishment is family-run, clean, quiet, and has an authentic atmosphere.

I highly recommend the yakisoba, which is simply the best. It has a deep and rich umami coupled with a delightful soba texture and aroma. Aside from the yakisoba, we tried to “Chef’s Choice” sushi, yakitori, katsu curry, and takoyaki, all of which were sublime. The matcha was highly authentic and made fresh (although if you are not a big fan of bitter tea tastes, I would skip this drink).

Truly a 10/10.

Best quality sushi around! The gyoza is amazing!!! My favorite roll aas the miracle roll and the b&b roll is also great. If you never had steak sashimi this is the place to try it! Also great sake selections with knowledgeable wait staff. Only complaint was we ordered 4 sushi rolls spent over $200 (with tip) and were charged $1.50 for one order of the spicy mayo. Most restaurants ive been to dont charge for the first order of spicy mayo. Not concerned about the price of it, more or less the principle. Everything else was amazing! Love this place will be back.

Ebisu has quickly become one of our favorite dinner spots! I was there again last night with my daughters — probably our fourth or fifth time — and we’ve never had a bad meal. This time, I ordered the chef’s special sushi roll along with other items, and honestly, it was one of the best sushi I’ve ever had! Our favorites so far include Mayflower roll, Japanese pepper steaks, and ramens!!

The staff is always friendly and efficient, and we love the Japanese décor. My girls enjoyed the unique seating style, even though it wasn’t my personal favorite, lol. Overall, we’re so glad we found this place!

Named after Ebisu, the Japanese god of fish and fortune, this family-owned restaurant lives up to its namesake by delivering an exceptional sushi experience every time. Ebisu offers an authentic Japanese selection of sushi that is consistently fresh, with a menu that changes based on availability. This means you can often discover rare and unusual items that you won’t find at most sushi spots—a real treat for adventurous sushi lovers.

Beyond sushi, Ebisu boasts a full Japanese menu featuring traditional dishes, so there’s something for everyone, whether you’re sitting at the lively sushi bar, a regular table, or opting for the cozy Japanese-style seating. The staff is always warm and welcoming, adding to the relaxed, genuine atmosphere that comes with a family-run establishment.

Do not leave without trying the chestnut cake dessert imported directly from Japan—it’s the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. Ebisu is a must-visit for anyone seeking authentic Japanese cuisine with a personal, family touch and a hint of culinary surprise.

Authentic amazing food, excellent customer service, and nice ambience. Everything we’ve gotten here has been delicious and fresh. Ingredients are what they should be, and they don’t use cheap substitutes like other “Japanese” restaurants in the area. I found this place because I go to the LA fitness next door and decided to try it. It’s is a gem! If you are particular about food being prepared properly and well, then this is the place for you!
