My friends and I ordered catering that included buffalo chicken dip, Cajun “chicken” Alfredo pasta, and chicken wings. Unfortunately, the experience was a complete disaster.
First, the Cajun Alfredo looked nothing like the photos. It had zero flavor, and instead of actual chicken, it appeared to be shredded chicken—or possibly even tuna? It was essentially bland Alfredo sauce with paprika sprinkled on top. Definitely not what you’d expect from “Cajun chicken Alfredo.”
Then the real issue began: everyone who ate the Alfredo and buffalo chicken dip got food poisoning. Multiple people were violently sick, throwing up all night and into the next day. Some of us were even unable to fly home because of how severe the symptoms were.
When we contacted the vendor, she responded with a message she had already sent to another group who also got sick—they had ordered buffalo chicken egg rolls. She thought we were the same group, which we weren’t. That alone shows this wasn’t an isolated incident. She offered a partial refund of $80 on a total bill of about 475, despite the fact that we also had to cover the cost of new flights due to the illness.
Throughout the situation, she showed little empathy or accountability. It felt like our concerns were dismissed, and the lack of responsibility was incredibly disappointing.
Save yourself the risk—this was a health hazard, not a meal.
