One of the best pad thai I have ever had! Perfect blend of spice to heat ratio. Delicious dumplings too! Big portions. Hidden behind Watson realty. Everything was clean and well kept. Great atmosphere, great music Highly recommend.

In a word: Heavenly!
From the charming vibe of the refurbished RV surrounded by cozy tables and lush plants to the authentic Pad Thai prepared one serving at a time with love by the owner (straight from Thailand!), this food truck is truly special. Every dish feels like a labor of passion and tradition.

If you’re on Amelia Island, don’t miss this hidden gem with a great story behind it. Check out their Facebook page for more details—you’ll be glad you did!

Hidden gem! Probably one of the best meals we had on Amelia Island! So glad we found Eato Chef. The service was great and the food was outstanding. We are tough critics, and we were super impressed with the flavors and ingredients. The dumplings and shrimp and chicken pad Thai were on point. Will be back next time we are in Amelia! Thank you for a great meal!

What a find! A little hidden, but worth seeking out. Outstanding pad Thai dishes. They’re happy to customize the amount of spice you want (or don’t), everyone could be happy here, an excellent surprise.

I ordered Pad Thai for the first time, without peanuts and an order of eggrolls. They were soooo good. The ingredients were fresh and the food was piping hot. I could’ve had the noodles and shrimp by themselves. The spice level was perfect for me. I appreciate the chef for giving me the disclaimer about the spice level and checking to see if me not wanting peanuts was a preference or allergy. The eggrolls were delicious, I couldnt stop eating them.

A real gem! We don’t live locally and we sure are gonna miss this place! I highly recommend it, the pad Thai tastes authentic and fresh, service and atmosphere is wonderful, there’s even games and activities on the tables. You can tell the owner goes above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable!
(Ps: I do recommend to be on the safe side for spice level specially since you can add more in your dish later on, I picked 2 and it even though I could handle it, I though it was a bit too spicy for my taste and probably would have liked 1 better)

We’re right across the street at Amelia South Condos for the week and it was SO convenient to just walk across the road. We only heard what this hidden gem sells yesterday and six of us opted to give it a try last night.

We ordered two Chicken Pad Thai and four Shrimp Pad Thai. The ladies with the Chicken both ordered spice level zero and it was perfect for them. No heat but absolutely delicious.

The three other orders of Shrimp Pad Thai were spice levels of 1 and 2 and I ordered spice level 3. I really like spicy food but not ridiculously hot food and the level 3 was perfect for me. Good solid heat but bearable. You should definitely like spicy food though if you order it.

The ingredients are clearly super fresh. The local shrimp were a good size, cooked in the wok to perfection and absolutely delicious.

We also got three orders of the eggrolls, which were phenomenal.

Since we’re right across the street we just got it to go and ate at the condo, but the weather was fantastic (it was almost 8 pm) and it would’ve been great to sit at one of the tables to eat as well.

Please support this place. The owner Mai Mai has only been here from Michigan for a very short time. I’d love to see her have great success here. She is so kind and friendly and easy to root for. She deserves support.

If you live anywhere on Amelia Island it’s worth the drive to try it. Heck, it’s worth the drive from Jacksonville where we live just to eat here.

It’s the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Thank you Mai Mai and best of luck to you!

Eato Chef is an absolute must-visit if you’re anywhere near Amelia Island. I had the shrimp pad Thai, and it was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. The shrimp is locally sourced, super fresh, and cooked perfectly. Every bite was packed with authentic Thai flavor and just the right amount of heat.

I also tried the mango sticky rice, which was the perfect sweet finish—creamy, fragrant, and beautifully presented.

The owner, Maimai, is as amazing as the food. She’s warm, welcoming, and clearly puts so much love and care into every dish she serves. You can feel the passion behind every bite.

Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make sure you stop by Eato Chef. Incredible food, great vibes, and a true highlight of the island!

My husband and I walked up and immediately met the owner, a lovely and easy to chat with kind of woman. She’s a recent transplant from MI and trying to get her name out there. I’m sure it will pick up soon once locals find her. The food was phenomenal! We are Pad Thai snobs and my husband said he thinks it’s the best he’s ever had! So fresh and a generous portion with legit heat/spice levels. Wishing her the best in her move to FL!
