UPDATE: I reached out to them since they offered a refund on this order. They asked that I delete this review in order to receive the refund. My integrity is not for sale! Their abysmal rating is probably inaccurate due to them reaching out to negative reviewers and asking them to delete their reviews! So shady!
Second update: Owner editing their response to me to call me a liar is literally so wild. Go ahead and try to discredit my review, it won’t change the fact that your restaurant is one of the lowest rated in the area. There’s a reason for that.
Wildly overpriced for subpar ingredients and lack or variety.
I ordered a build your own bowl with 2 proteins EDIT: the owner is now arguing with me over email that I selected 4 ‘toppings’ apparently they don’t charge by protein like most places do. The charge extra to add 1/8th of a brown avocado and seaweed salad. So my review is still correct, I selected two proteins and two ‘premium toppings’. I was not told the avocado and seaweed salad would be an extra cost.
Poke bowl is one of my favorites, I was excited to try this place as I was in the area for a doctor’s appointment.
Compared to other poke restaurants I felt that there was a lack of toppings and visibly the toppings looked old or unappetizing. The sushi rice was very very mushy making me think it has been overcooked. It also did not taste seasoned.
I asked for onion and got huge pieces of onion. I also got some of the papery skin of the onion!
The corn was really mushy and did not taste fresh.
The edamame was grey and not fresh.
Finally, this bowl cost almost $20!!! With tip it was over $20.

Pleasantly surprised by the value and quality!
I paid just $16 for a fresh, flavorful meal and a well-made boba drink. The ingredients tasted really fresh, and the drink had the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Definitely a great option if you’re looking for something healthy and satisfying. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite lunch spots! The food is so delicious and always fresh. The staff is always friendly and double checks on each item I want to put in my rice bowl. The Eatjoy Beef Bowl is my favorite with the spicy mayo sauce on top. On days I’m more hungry, i also order the steamed dumplings, which are very tasty. Just a heads up, the dining space is long tables, so you may end up sitting with other customers. If that isn’t your thing, then I would just suggest getting your food to go. It’s definitely worth it to check out.

This place is good, however the portions for the bowls could be bigger. I also paid an extra $3.50 for grilled chicken but the chicken I received wasn’t grilled and tasted bland. Other than that I did enjoy.

This is a popular spot. Food is really delicious and I heard the owner insists on using only fresh and quality ingredients. I love their chili beef dish, and the fried tofu is also yummy. Sitting area is simple but good enough for a quick meal.

Disappointing for the price. The protein portions are extremely small for the price- you get the amount that fits in a very shallow condiment container. Spicy tuna tastes, looks and feels like cooked canned tuna.

Everything was made perfect. Quality was great, they read my notes before making it to make sure it was correct, and the price can’t be argued with (not for fresh raw fish like this!) Ian was very friendly and professional! Would definitely recommend.

I love Eatjoy so much, everytime I think me and my friends are going to try a new restaurant in Downtown we all just end up going here because it is so good. My favorite bowl by far is the Crispy Island. The bubble teas are sweet. I like the Taro milk tea. I will miss this place once I graduate.
