We ordered the vegetarian sandwich and the #3 club, the club is the one pictured. Seriously amazing sandwich place with delightful staff, we have been meaning to go here for years because of reviews and finally got the chance to get there before they closed and it holds up to what I’ve read. I got the #3 club with pastrami and corned beef on rye and this is now one of my favorite sandwiches, the rye bread and melted cheese was a perfect compliment to the meat and the veggies balanced it all out. My wife got the vegetarian sandwich and usually most delish will have some token offering for the vegetarians but this place had several types of cheese on the standard veggies with avocado and sprouts and the quality of the bread really made the sandwich, my wife loves this place now. The potato salad was also very good!

The owner and his wife were so nice and sweet. Most important the sandwich was amazing and delicious. I ordered the #4 club it is turkey bacon cheese lettuce and tomato. One of the best club sandwich I have eaten in a while. Also it wasn’t expensive at all it was only $11 for a huge sandwich. The owner was so so kind I will def come back and try their other sandwiches

Service is top-notch! This place is like home. Mom making you a sandwich for lunch, pop back there joking around and talking smack. All done with love. Love that you can taste it. I highly recommend this spot. Eat your Heart out just made it into my lunch rotation.

This place is sooo good!! The sandwich was amazing but the customer service was even better, they’re so sweet! The entire meal with chips was $14.50 and the sandwich was 3 layers. Not to mention the free cookie the owner gave both my friend and I. This place is so homey and has a great environment and super affordable!

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The service was absolutely fantastic. The owners running the shop were very friendly and happy to have us there, and even gave a coworker a free gift for her birthday. The food was excellent and I got the #3, Pastrami, which was gigantic and delicious. Very happy with the experience and I’ll be back to explore more of the menu.

The sandwiches are absolutely amazing. For $10 the sandwich is also a big portion. This deli reminds me of a New York deli absolutely incredible. The owners are very sweet. Also welcoming reminds me of the type of love my grandparents had you were treated as family as the minute you walked in. Definitely will be returning

You guys! PLEASE don’t sit on this place! It’s owned by the sweetest couple and their sandwiches are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and prices are great! We’ve been here a bunch of times and have yet to have a bad meal. We usually stop by when we’re already headed to Poway but this morning my husband and I were craving it so bad we drove down just to have a little breakfast date.
We got a bagel breakfast sandwich: everything bagel with cream cheese, sausage, and egg, The Godfather Club, and chips. The cookies are complimentary!

I came to Poway in April 2021. Visit from Indiana for a work thing. Found this place for lunch and fell in love with both the owners and the food.
Found out I was coming back and I was immediately excited about coming back just to eat lunch here. They swear they remember me from a year ago and the hospitality wouldn’t tell me any differently. It’s like he was my buddy and I was a daily regular. Kind man and his wife too. Got the #5 first day. Was amazing. Then he told me to get the #3. So next day I did. Blown away. “Next time you try #8”. Not gonna doubt the man so I did. And that was the best one.
Listen, I travel all around the world for my job and this place is special. The world needs more people like them and more sammiches like this.
Seriously, I can’t say enough great things about this place and even if I never make it back, it will always be a great memory and a golden place I’ll remember forever.
