We visited 23rd December. The staff as usual were attentive ,friendly and polite. Food came out quickly and there was a fab playlist on giving it a festive party vibe. We had the hispi cabbage, peanut butter chicken wings, veg spring rolls, barbecued courgette, pork and sprouts and chilli potatoes. Everything was unreal but the cabbage absolutely stole the show and I hope they add it to the menu as permanent feature!

Every time we eat here, the whole experience is top notch. The food is delicious, the staff are engaging and so friendly, and the atmosphere is busy and bustling. The marmite and peanut cauliflower is a must! Highly recommended, vegetarian/vegan friendly and inexpensive.

a wonderful little hidden gem. amazing service from toby and kay, they really made us feel welcome and looked after even tho it was super busy as we came on a saturday evening. the food was great, best vietnamese food i’ve ever had, not to mention the range that the restaurant offers with a set a la carte menu and a specials menu running along side it. you’re really spoilt for choice! everything from food, to service, to price per person was fantastic and we absolutely will return. thanks again! x

The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the authenticity in every dish.
The service was fantastic as well — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. It made the whole experience even better.

So… regardless of the pushback, the experience here was terrible! We came because of the 5-star Google Maps reviews and because Stirchley is becoming an amazing place to visit.
The first problem is the £20 booking fee if you are absent. I understand the concept, but £20? That’s the most I’ve seen from a small establishment.
Second, the food! Wow! My partner and I were on the toilet for 2 days after. The chicken wasn’t cooked properly at all!
Lastly, my clothes stank of 2-week-old, stale deep-frying oil. It was embarrassing to go anywhere else after.
The toilet is outside—I mean, seriously, 5 stars?
Won’t be coming here again unless we need a detox

I honestly can not tell you how incredible the food is eating here. From the vibe, to the staff and then to the incredible food.
I am all visual – so turning up to a sign that doesn’t shout “eat here”, made me very cautious BUT i can not tell you how much i enjoyed the food! The gentleman that served us, made our visit so enjoyable. I would highly reccomend going here. Ensure you book a table prior, to not miss out and don’t over order. Let me tell you, we can eat but with 5 dishes between us (2 starters, 2 small and a main), i walked out wanting to pop the button on the old jeans. I def’ reccomend trying the Aubergine and Courgette specials, along with the Pork belly curry ❤️ We went just us but i will be returning with the kids soon. Compliments to the chef and the staff! And we will see you again soon

This is a place you will need to book in advance. They used to charge a £20 deposit but they don’t take this payment upfront anymore. They will charge if you don’t turn up I guess.
The food is delicious and we particularly enjoyed the crispy pork belly and courgette dish. The mains were ok (chicken noodles) but I’d say the food from the specials board stole the show.
I have been here a few times now over the last few years and feel that it’s somewhat different. Can’t quite place my finger on it though mind.

This was our second visit and it was equally as great as our first. And we brought a neighbour and he was knocked out by your great food and service and atmosphere! Thanks again for another great Eat Vietnam meal! our chosen small and large plates were all wonderful, service was brilliant (your staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!). Fantastic food as always and service was spot on. What took the edge off our visit slightly was the price of soft drinks- £3.50 for a can of coke served straight from the can! No glass to wash, ice, lemon, no additional cost..Really?? I know business is hard for restaurants but ….
