We enjoyed Eat street so much we ate here two nights in a row. The food was outstanding, especially the grilled Mahi fish tacos. All the greens and micro greens were fresh. The dishes were creative and there were several options for different people’s taste in food. We fed a family of six and the little one had a cheese burger with fries, while the older ones branched out and tried the pad Thai bowls, fish tacos, and more. The atmosphere here was relaxed, open air concept with beautiful ambient lighting, plant decor, and music. The overall vibe was fantastic with many beach goers coming in to eat with no shirts and dark tans. We will probably eat here again before we travel home. The prices were reasonable. The plates we ordered were between $15-$25 American each. I think we fed all 6 of us for around $100 American. You could easily have a one person meal here for under $20 American.

Honestly, probably one of the better places to eat in Santa Teresa – they have so many different options; breakfast, lunch, dinner allowing for easier decisions. Some of their breakfast bowls are truly amazing and pack flavour. They also have a small bar for cocktails and beer. They also have smoothies and fresh juices, coffee, and other drinks. Prices are decent compared to some of the others in the town. Seating is in the open air, but covered.

We loved this place!! The atmosphere is so comfortable, clean and inviting. Everything we’ve ordered has been incredible. The service is friendly and quick and cleaning of the tables is constant. I want to try everything there! Bathrooms are also really great! We need one of these in Arizona!

Four stars only for pricey-ness but it’s very hard to complain about price in Costa Rica. Virtually everything visitors consume has to be imported.
However, an entrée with extra chicken, a Coca-Cola, and tip comes close to $43.00 CDN. Downtown Vancouver prices, but prices offset by generous portions and high quality.

We actually experienced Eat Street twice during our time in Santa Teresa – once for delivery (a literal miracle that day!) and once dining in (or out, since it’s outside? )!
When ordering for delivery – we were so thankful that they delivered to us at our Airbnb! We ordered their mahi-mahi wrap (the mango salsa is what got me ️), their tuna poke bowl, guacamole and chips, and a burger. Their guacamole was amazing, so fresh! The tuna poke bowl fell a little short – maybe if it had a spicy mayo or something, something to give it a little kick, it would have been much better.
We visited Eat Street for breakfast the next morning before we headed for Montezuma. We had their smoothie bowl (it was amazing – so refreshing on a hot morning) and their smoked salmon bagel. It was a really cool place to see in person (and when it wasn’t super busy).
Definitely a cool place to check out for yourself!

Lots of great options at this eatery it’s like a Costa Rican version of Time Out. Lots of fresh fish options, everything from salads to tacos and burgers, there is also a bar. Some nights of the week there’s a live DJ but it don’t go too late. It’s a great option for something quick or when everyone wants something different. Only suggestion would be to add a water station so people can easily get their on water.
There’s also wifi.

I came here for breakfast pretty early, and I really appreciated that they’re open in the morning when a lot of places are still closed. The service was genuinely kind and welcoming — the staff made me feel taken care of from the moment I arrived.
Food-wise, I had the matcha and the avocado sandwich, and both were really well done. The matcha was smooth and nicely balanced (not overly sweet), and the avocado sandwich tasted super fresh and thoughtfully made.
One small but important note: I ordered the “Green Bowl” from the breakfast menu and it came with kiwi on top. I’m allergic to kiwi, and it wasn’t mentioned on the menu — it seemed more like a topping than part of the mix, but still something that should be listed. The good part: they swapped it out for me for free, no fuss, which I truly appreciated. Still, it would be great if toppings / potential allergens were clearly written on the menu to avoid issues for people with allergies.

This is a great find on the Main Street in Santa Teresa! There are several ‘pop up’ up style eateries and bars to choose from and with plenty of seating. The variety is great and I loved this place that much, I’ve been back twice since! My recommendations, the Pad Thai, humus starter, the burrito options are the best I’ve ever had and the salad / mix bowls are delicious. There is also a selection of desserts / patisseries for those with a sweet tooth!

Super nice that they’re open early (7am) to grab a bite to eat before surfing or other excursions.
It is rainy season so it is quieter at this time of year, but it was really nice because it was quiet and the food both times for lunch and breakfast was very quick!
We also bought the pre-made granola And it was delicious! Highly recommend this place, there’s several different options of places to eat, and of course, a lot of different food items to choose from!

We had breakfast and dinner at Eat Street and loved it. The menu is great, everything we tried was delicious, beautifully presented, and the service was very friendly and attentive. A special WOW goes to their croissants — absolutely outstanding!
