The food is 10/10. It is exactly like home cooked food! We learned from the chef that this place is favored by truck drivers looking for home cooked Indian meals hence the “dhaba” in the name.
Now, there isn’t much to expect in terms of the ambience or atmosphere of this place. The setup is pretty bare bones and the restrooms need cleaning.
So this is ideally a place for take out or delivery. But the taste is great and the lady at the counter seemed friendly.

The food is really good and I’m excited to try more things on the menu.
I ordered a head and everything was hot and ready when I arrived

Its in an old gas station but the food is top notch. There is seating, tables for two to ten. A hidden gem.
My partner and I had the goat biryani and asked for full heat. The flavor blew my socks off.

Pleasantly surprised to find this Dhaba style Indian restaurant in Poconos. Very authentic punjabi style food. Takes his time and serves it hot and fresh. Very tasty food. Highly satisfied and highly recommend.

Worth a detour! If you know what a dhaba is, then this is an authentic dhaba. If you don’t know what a dhaba is — it’s India’s equivalent of a “greasy spoon” diner, often catering to travelers and truckers with hearty comfort foods. Located in an old gas station this dhaba is as authentic as you can get outside of the South Asian subcontinent. It is also a real gas station and you can buy some Indian snacks to go. Regularly patronized by south Asian truckers, this spot unpretentiously welcomes all. Lack of decor is made up for by the warm service, and THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT: freshly cooked and prepared by an authentic north Indian bawarchi. STOP. EAT. ENJOY!

The Restaurant and Services either shutdown in-person or planning to close completely. I went to restaurant after driving more than 20 miles one way based on Google Review for best “Indian Food”. Couldn’t get food or gas in car. I don’t know how franchises works without having actual information about business conditions.

Went to pickup dinner. Had ordered Shahi paneer, saag paneer, rice & Mango lassi. Shahi paneer and saag paneer was ok. It felt like it had less salt & spices. Roti, rice & mango lassi was good.

Authentic Typical Indian Dhaba food. This Dhaba is a hidden gem we found during our trip to New Jersey. We hiked in Rickettes glen state park and were super hungry. We searched for Indian food and found this one. We were not much confident about the place as it’s pretty close to highway. Generally good Indian restaurants are in good locations and it’s location is bit odd. It was not very crowded and it’s mainly for takeout. We ordered paneer biryani, tava rotis and gobi aaloo which took approx 30 mins. Food was undoubtedly prepared fresh as they claim. Food was little spicy but delicious just like home cooked food. Owner is from Punjab,India and Dhaba concept is mainly from the place. It’s as authentic as it can be. We Loved the food and will definitely pay it a visit again. You just have to be patient for the food as it is freshly prepared.
