this isn’t third going here. now the first time, great. they were on time with the estimated time, food was great.
now the second time i came here they said 30 minute wait, i had waited almost an hour and i got the beef and broccoli and they gave me 3 pieces of broccoli for that i could’ve just got beef lol.
now my third time, today, for my lunch, i ordered kung pao chicken now you would think because majority of the world has a peanut allergy, a SEVERE allergy many people have, they would atleast mention that their chicken comes with it a quick “ours have peanuts” but they didn’t instead when i called to say “i didn’t know yours came with peanuts because most places don’t give it with peanuts” i was responded with “well you would have to ask us what our food comes with, and ours does come with peanuts, everybody is different” which cool everybody is different but something that could’ve been an allergy should be mentioned. then there was no apologies no compensation of any sort. which i get cool, it’s food but again most places would’ve tried to make it better because i was quite disappointed she instead was persistent i ask next time and everybody is different.
portions may be great but it was kinda disappointing to know that that’s how they would respond to someone because again peanut allergies are not something to play with and if i was allergic would i have had to spend more because they didn’t want to accommodate me with something? i don’t know but this makes me rethink about coming back.
and let’s not forget she said “just pick them out”

The food is good. Their policy is you must spend $20 in order to use your debit card. Oh, and if you do use your debit card, they also charge a $0.50+ sur-charge. My friend and I both wanted to order food here but, decided to go elsewhere. They would rather lose $30 (we were going to spend about $15 each) just to save a few cents? Wow.

It has been very difficult to find good Chinese food since the pandemic. The quality at all my favorites spots have really talen a nose dive. So when by chance I got some left over Tso Chicken from here from the kids, I honestly was not expecting much. Chinese food rarely heats up decent but this was actually good even reheated. So I had to go try it fresh. And yeah WOW it was fresh and yummy. Wife and I were taken back. We had the chicken with mushrooms, Amazing, the Tso Chicken and the sesame chicken which were equally as good. The one that got all the kids talking was the Crab rangoon. Fresh and filled to perfection! The portions were good and plentiful. Highly recommend! I can’t believe I dismissed this place for years just based on the silly name. Learned my lesson.

Food is usually really good. But for the horrible service and wait times, they are way, way over priced. We called an order in today at 440pm, was told it would be an hour. My daughter is still there waiting patiently, for an extra hour. We will never go there again. I understand that a business can get busy, but get your orders complete in the order you receive them. There are plenty of other quality Chinese restaurants in the area I’d rather give my money to going forward. For the amount of money we spent, over $90 dollars, food should have been hot and ready at 540pm.

Eat Rice presents as a no frills take-out Chinese restaurant. The waiting area offers eight folding chairs for customers. There are no posters or photos on the walls. The counter for ordering food is enclosed and has a fortress-feel. Food is delivered to customers through a small door. But this all testifies to an authentic Chinese approach to take-out. So does the couple in the kitchen who speak Chinese to each other. (The restaurant reminds me of small eateries I have enjoyed in Mainland China.) Expect to wait a bit for your meal or order ahead. The food is prepared after its ordered. The prices are reasonable and the menu exhaustive. The food is delicious. We ordered dumplings, sweet & sour pork, and chicken with mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious.

On this trip to Eat Rice, I see the Covid protections have been removed from around the cash register. The food is still delicious. Give this takeout restaurant a try.

This is my favorite so far, I won’t order from another Chinese restaurant. The food is always hot and fresh. No long waiting times and good portions for the price. I got chicken with broccoli, beef lo mein, steamed dumplings, and crab ragoon is a must!

Placed an order for small shrimp fried rice, dumplings and a combination plate. Waited 20 min and got the combination plate for my boyfriend and I only got dumplings….! She kept telling me the rice was in the combination plate. I ordered “small shrimp fried rice l” for my dumplings!!! Dumplings cooked on one side raw on the other side. Waste of time! Never going again!

I love their food, my only critique is that the quality of the shrimp is so bad , mushy and gross. I love everything else about this place besides the shrimp. I wish it was better quality

We’ve been here twice now, both times were excellent and the food was consistently good.

I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the vegetables in the food as well as the flavor of everything.

It had been so long since we got takeout that I assumed the first time was a fluke, but a few weeks later the food was just as good the next time we ordered.

The staff at the restaurant is always very friendly too.

We will be back!!
