The food was wonderful and service was great. Everything on the menu looked and sounded delicious and what we had didn’t disappoint. We didn’t have room for dessert but got it anyway and it was worth it, strawberry rhubarb individual pie with vanilla bean ice cream…delicious! The waitress even helped me out by making sure I got the bill so my mom wouldn’t be able to fight me for it. Made a great mother’s day dinner for us! Will be back and defiantly suggest to others.

EAT is a delicious farm to table restaurant with chef inspired meals cooked to perfection. They deliver all the flavors of the city, with the comfort of the country. The chef often will stop by each table to introduce himself after the food comes put and the rich history of multiple generations on the restaurant industry gives EAT an extra since of nostalgia. We ordered the beef tips and noodles and have never experienced a dish so delicious. We have also been for the brunch several times and have thoroughly enjoyed our selections.
It’s probably a good idea to make reservations in advance for weekends, but it’s always worth the detour to Dodge Nebraska for the experience of dining at EAT.

I cannot say enough great things about this place! I had a wonderful time here. The staff is kind and friendly. The chef also made me a special vegan meal that included the impossible burger! Merger in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that the restaurant in Dodge, would serve the impossible burger. Mind blown!
Everyone can feel free to go eat there, whatever their diet.

The bottom line is that the food is great and ask them directly what the price of the item is when the waitstaff up sells you to something off the menu (Buyer Beware)..
This review is from my attendance at this lovely restaurant last night. I had a lovely meal with my sister in law, we had the delicious sausage appetizer, we split a salad, which was more than enough for 2 people as an additional starter. My sister in law had the amazing veal dish, which I also would recommend to anyone who has the opportunity to go to this restaurant.
My one issue had to do with my choice of my meal, the wait staff explained that they had a special steak for the night that was not on the menu. As I enjoy meat, I was told the special steak that was 2 oz more than the standard steak, I was not told that this steak they called a feature cut and that the price would be 3 times the price of the 14 oz steak already on the menu for the night. Imagine my surprise when i received the bill. I am frustrated by the lack of transparency on this item on their menu, as there was no way i would have ordered this pricey 2 oz more of meat.
When asked for more clarification on this price this morning, the restaurant stated, that it was a special cut of meat, that my not asking the waitress how much it cost was my fault, and discussing the price before you purchase something with the waitstaff made some diners uncomfortable so they don’t tell you the price (although everything else on the menu has a price which must also make the patrons uncomfortable when they read it as well)

Eat is luckily enough to be in my home town of Dodge. I recommend this stop to anyone. The service is enjoyable, and refreshing. Their meals are all home made and you just can’t get any better than that. You can feel the passion that this Mother and Son Duo have for one another, and for the people they serve. You will not be disappointed to make this your next evening out, but make sure to call and reserve your spot!

This place has truly gourmet food. The main chef and owner actually is said to have attended a prestigious culinary school in New York. It has many specialty sodas here to try. One regret: the wallet. As can be expected, the food here is not cheap, nor quickly made. But for a family night out, it’s perfect: once your family is done dining, the chef who prepared your meals will come out of the kitchen to talk with you and your family. Also has a great atmosphere for dates: a quiet, romantic atmosphere, and great food. Above all, a great place to Eat!

I came to Nebraska to visit family. I have been lucky enough to eat in some of the best restaurants in the major cities in the US and Europe, and I have to say the food here is truly world class. In all seriousness, the best duck I’ve ever had anywhere. The restaurant is quaint, the staff is friendly, and the operation is all over amazing. HIGHLY recommend!

Excellent food by a real Chef…not a cook. This is first class food in a small town setting. Worth the drive from anywhere. Only an hour from Omaha and about 30 minutes or less from Fremont.
