My wife found this restaurant on Ticketty-Tock and we decided to give it a try. First, the day we went, they were only serving orders to go, which is exactly what we wanted. The young lady that took our order was great – friendly, helpful and attentive. We ordered the fried ribs with red beans & rice and sweet potatoes, a fried fish basket, chicken & sausage gumbo and the dirty south eggrolls (stuffed with braised oxtails, greens and mac & cheese). I like my fish fried a little harder but it was delicious. My wife said her food was also delicious! I wouldn’t try the eggrolls because that’s too much going on in an eggroll but she loved them. We would definitely go back for another visit!!!

The food at Eat-n-Geaux was absolutely mouth watering! Every bite was full of flavor, and the presentation made it even more enjoyable. Our family loved it so much that we went back again the very next day — that says it all! The seasoning, the quality, and the friendly service made our experience unforgettable. It’s rare to find food that tastes homemade yet feels gourmet.

Absolutely amazing experience! She was the only waitress working and still managed to be incredibly nice, polite, and attentive the entire time. You could tell she truly cared about the customers, and I honestly wish I could gift her something huge for how well she handled everything.
The food was delicious, everything came out great, and I left very satisfied. And let me just say… the cheesecake was a 100000/10 — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had.
Amazing service, amazing food, and an overall wonderful experience. I’ll definitely be back! I drove from Thibodaux it was well worth it.

I had a very pleasant experience placing my order to go, inside the restaurant. All my questions were answered to satisfaction, regarding the menu. The food was cooked to order and the sides tasted like Big Mama’s…This spot definitely belongs on the map. They’re running a 2 for $25 Special, until the end of 2025. SUPPORT!

Just had one of the most flavorful burgers I have ever eaten! Food was made fresh to order and tastes even better than it looks, which is amazing. I also had the sausage and chicken gumbo the other day that was treat to my taste buds! Service was excellent! Highly recommended anyone visiting Baton Rouge to add Eat-N-Geaux to your restaurant list, and if you live here, to make this grill a part of your rotation!

I heard this new foodie joint just opened up in Prairieville recently, so we had to try it! Everything was a hit and I will be coming back here! I will come back for the Yakamein and Dirty South Rolls!
Menu items:
1. New Orleans Style Yakamein (with Chicken, Steak or Shrimp) in savory broth, diced eggs & noodles, w/ green onions. (Favorite).
2. Dirty South Rolls
(3) Braised Ox-tails, Collard Greens, Mac And Cheese, Stuffed in egg rolls, served w/ gravy au jus. (Favorite)
3. Geaux Big Wings

My husband and I patiently waited for our food today and once we arrived home with our order, it came to my attention that the plain burger I ordered was fully dressed and after wiping off all of the condiments that I asked not to be placed on my burger, I took a few bites only to notice that the patty had zero seasoning. Not one ounce of salt/pepper or anything. Just the taste of bland meat. The wings were just ok and the only edible item we could stand to eat were the onion rings. I really wanted to like this place but I don’t think we’ll be returning, especially after spending over $50 for food that didn’t even taste good. Service was great though. Good luck to everyone else in your experience.
