Darren is such a great guy. Very polite and professional along. Easy to strike up a conversation. So many items to choose off the menu. The Cubano sub was definitely amazing, super fresh and full of flavor. The anti pasta salad was very tasty and fresh filled with chunks of meats and cheeses. Italian sausage sammie was huge and loaded with bursting flavor. Also had to get the sweet tater fries and order of the jalapeno poppers. Highly recommended and very generous pricing for the amount of food you get that is FRESH!

On December 22, 2024, while driving by this establishment with Tiff, we decided to stop and try it out on our way back from running errands. It’s astonishing that we’ve only just discovered this place. The staff were remarkably friendly and helpful in providing suggestions and explaining how their dishes were prepared. Their menu features what I’d describe as ‘fair food,’ which brought me immense joy. They offer a wide variety of classic fair foods and more. Tiff chose the gyro, while I opted for the brisket burnt ends accompanied by waffle fries. Following their recommendation, I also sampled the ‘Cowboy beans,’ which exceeded my expectations. Their extensive selection of meals, sides, and desserts was impressive. I strongly recommend visiting this establishment, as the staff and owner clearly take pride in their offerings. I’d like to thank the staff for a truly exceptional experience. Tiff and I both agree – 9.9 out of 10. Don’t overlook this place.

Their food is sooo good. Everything from the Reuben sandwiches, potato salad, wings, cheeseburgers, to their barbecue pulled pork sandwiches is absolutely amazing. The fat in their barbecued pulled sandwiches is so soft and melts like butter. Definitely check them out!! Highly recommend!!

This place is a hidden gem. .50 cent wings that are bangin. The Italian grinder was far better that anything at Subway. It took me back to my childhood of what a real Italian grinder is. Prices are good.

Okay I ordered goulash, pepper soup and Dagwood sub yesterday for delivery from Uber eats. I went to eat the goulash first. It was awful. Nothing like they advertise on their website. I literally got some weird noodles, with a bunch of big chunks of onion and, hamburger and tomato sauce. Everything was not cut small, just big large chunks of everything. I had this last year and it was great, elbows mac, everything looked like the picture. NOT this time, it was disgusting and I threw it away. I’m saving my pepper soup and Dagwood sub for tomorrow, let’s see how that goes. East side Deli, you keep adding stuff to your menu, it’s so big you can’t keep up, slim down your menu and concentrate on better quality of food. If the sub and pepper soup is gross, I will never order from here again!

So I ordered from here through door dash. They substituted my Cuban for an Italian sausage without even bothering to call me. When I reached out the guy told me that they weren’t liable that I had to take it up with door dash. How are you not liable if you are the one making the food??? I couldn’t even choose my own substitution??!!! He said that door dash should have let me know about the substitution. Which obviously they didn’t as well. The mozzarella sticks were salty, the crab Rangoon barely had any filling, and the Philly steak we got had no mushrooms either( it states it comes with mushrooms) we had also asked for no peppers and onions and of course there was onions. The entire experience and food was horrible. Do better! Please take responsibility for the food you create/make.

So many choices, it was hard to choose. Got a yummy Cuban and carnival fries. Did not disappoint. Was curious about the gater burger. But went with the Cuban out of nostalgia. Workers were great at tempting you for menu items to try. Please move south.

2nd time here for the sausage sandwich. Again with the onion skin making in with the onions. The peppers were few and far between if you could identify them being so small and black. The mushrooms were out of a can , the cheese wasn’t melted but why would it be when the sausage itself was cold. I guess the silver lining was the ladies on the inside taking orders. I won’t totally avoid this place. I’ll go one more time for the old 3rd time’s a charm saying.
