9-29-25 we order from here a lot never had a complaint or a issue I am just very highly disappointed and lack of noticing something before serving food in the container!!!
I was eating my wonton soup and as I finished eating the wontons before I was gonna drink the juice thankfully I noticed something thick at the bottom and it was to partially melted 4oz cup lids in the bottom of the container. How do they not notice this just how?

Unfortunately unimpressive. First time I called I ordered chop suey got chicken soup. Second time I ordered fried broccoli and chicken and it was not great. Rice was old and dry, chicken portion was very small and broccoli was more than half of the box. Broccoli was saggy and missing any crisp. Overall good enough to survive but not something I would recommend.

My bf and I go here and he gets an extra pork egg roll half the time we come. Didn’t pay for an extra, they just throw it in. The food is always hot and tastes great.

Don’t get taken on the spring rolls 4.75 & tax ..I opened the take out bag & just looked @ what we were given for the money , they weren’t even close to the size of 1..anywhere else,& we got 2 . & wasn’t close to the size of 1 ..elsewhere. .however hot & sour soup is the best around ..wish this didn’t happen sadly .

Hands down, some of the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The place is really small (only one eat-in table), but the food was AMAZING. The staff is friendly enough, but they mean business, too. They do an amazing takeout business as well. Everything we tried was delicious. We’re from out of town, but we’ll be back if we’re back in this direction again. SO good!!!

Honestly the most disgusting food I think I ever got!! It smells old and just disgusting! Just by looking at it I feel unsafe eating it ! It’s supposed to honey chicken it’s just straight mush you can’t even pick it up . This is my first time ever writing a review but I had to warn people!!! RUNNNNN

I honestly cannot say enough great things about the quality and tasty food Eastern Wok provides NEPA. I’ve been a patron for years and will be for many years to come.
Over many years, I believe I’ve tried every single Chinese takeout restaurant in the Scranton area and, as a transplanted NY’er, my standards are high and the only Chinese takeout in the Scranton area that comes the closest to Canal St. standards is Eastern Wok. Like many others have told me, the tiniest of holes in the wall always have the best food.
Thank you Eastern Wok for providing our area respectable, delicious and tasty Chinese food!!
The delivery is excellent, quality food at reasonable prices. As a transplanted NY’er, we love our Chinese food on Friday nights and Eastern Wok absolutely is far above the best of every other Chinese takeout restaurant I’ve tried in over a dozen years. The high quality ingredients, quality meats and fish, vegetables and small details like dishes not being overwhelmed with salt, grease and sugar show that someone cares in the product they are serving and delivering.
Since I’ve discovered this hidden gem, I’ve never once had a bad dish and I appreciate that because it’s a treat for me to enjoy takeout and appreciate the value I get for my money.
Wonderful menu to explore, quality meats, fish, vegetables and not drowned in salty, sugary sauces.
The best choice for Chinese in NEPA, in my opinion.
