Wow what a welcoming and entrancing shop! I was a bit overwhelmed by the expansive offerings. Thankfully I had just eaten or I might have bought out the store. The staff was kind and maybe a little amused as I wandered around discovering. I was especially excited to find and purchase grape leaves stuffed with lamb. I can’t wait to go back and try more!

We visited Eastern Lamejun Bakers on Saturday and loved everything about it!
The staff were incredibly friendly, and it was our first time trying Armenian food — everything looked and tasted amazing. We especially enjoyed the lentil keofta, meat lamejun, preserved figs and apricots, and sesame cookies.
This visit made us want to learn more about Armenia’s unique culture, language, and cuisine, which are distinct from Turkey’s.
I personally love this kind of handmade, homestyle food — simple, honest flavors you could enjoy every day.
Highly recommend this place if you love discovering new tastes!
And nothing beats their cookies and sweets with a warm spiced tea — a perfect weekend treat!

The lamejun are delicious and quite authentic too. I also tried the vegetarian grape leaves and they were excellent! They’re like homemade appetizers. This place also offers a lot of Armenian and middle eastern food like sujuk, basterma, labneh, and so much more. I would definitely come back!

a great store and a bakery in one place. Lahmajo is really special here and baked in house every day. The owner, who was ringing at the register, was so nice to me when she learned about my first time at her family store. she gave me a box of Armenian red lentil patties/nuggets for free. They tasted heavenly. I loved the variety of Armenian in-house baked stuff in the store and of course the lahmajo. Definitely recommend to visit this place for a variety of Armenian ethnic food and bakeries!

My absolute favorite place to go! And since I don’t live nearby anymore, visiting is an even more special of a treat! The second you walk in the door the amazing scents overwhelm your senses! What to get first? I guess the MUST HAVES… Apricot paste, I’ll take two please! Halva, oh the choices! Fresh pita bread, definitely! I could go on and on… BUT, I can’t leave without at least 5 boxes of Lamejun! NO ONE makes lamejun like Eastern Lamejun! Visit… you won’t be let down!
