We had dinner at Eastern Eye last night and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and very attentive, the food was delightful and nobody left hungry. Our children were entertained by the staff and they were very accommodating with the kids’ food choices.
It is a great destination for the whole family and Chef Abdul ‘s specialty dishes will make you add this establishment as one of the go to places in Lichfield.
When you do go make sure to try the goat curry and the lamb chops, you won’t be disappointed!

We’ve just had another superb curry at The Eastern Eye in Lichfield. Shan is a very welcoming hostess who greets you with a happy smile. Service and food is excellent. I thoroughly recommend The Eastern Eye

Our starters Seekh Kebab and Onion Bahji were so full of fresh flavours, the best we have eaten in any Indian restaurant. I opted for a spicy tangy lamb curry with sweet potato which did not disappoint. The lamb was so lean and tender cooked to perfection as was my husband’s chicken curry with the perfect level of spice. The service is very efficient, warm and friendly. Highly recommend and will be back.

I live in Cardiff and this curry tops anything I can get at home. My parents love this restaurant and I can see why.
Highly recommend!

Staff are lovely however i personaly don’t like it when the staff are constantly walking past whilst I’m eating i understand if its busy but it wasn’t.
The food was definitely not worth the money we paid £20 for a box standard curry without any extras is very pricey.
Lesson learnt but we aren’t all the same everyones standards are different.

We ordered a take away from here tonight and it was one of the best curry’s we’ve EVER had. We have eaten all over the world, Birmingham too, you name it – but our first time ordering here we were extremely impressed with the amount of chicken in the curry’s, the taste of the sauces and depth of flavours. The pineapple chilli rice was particularly new and different too. We ordered a pathia and a chicken saag, with a pashwari naan – unbelievable taste!!! We’ll be back and with friends!

For my first time visiting the UK from the US, I wanted to try great Indian food in England. This was perfect. The dishes were impeccably flavored and made with fresh ingredients. The chicken tikka masala, in particular, was unforgettable. I highly recommend eating here.

We had the Korma & Aloo Gobi – food and service was excellent. We got in early so not much atmosphere at that time, but we’ve eaten there several times and each time exceeded expectations. Well done EE!
