Went here for my birthday treat. I don’t know the cost as my son paid. He was happy. I’m guessing reasonably priced. Food was lovely. I couldn’t eat it all as portions are very generous. Staff are very welcoming. Place is clean and nicely decorated. Will definitely come back.

It was never our plan to eat whilst visiting Brick Lane but we were enticed into Eastern Eye balti house by their great ” man at the door”

We ordered tandoori lamb chops, chana masala, sag aloo and 2 lots of rice.

A beautiful and spectacular meal which was generous in size. Tasty and beautifully presented.

Staff were professional, kind and helpful without being overbearing. The discount of 20% and a free drink was welcomed by us.

Absolutely can’t wait to come back when we return to Brick Lane. ❤️

Amazing restaurant!
The food quality was excellent and everything tasted delicious. One of our dishes was a bit too spicy and they kindly replaced it with a milder version without any problem. Very fast service, super friendly staff, and really attentive. Highly recommend!

It doesn’t worth it at all
Lots of cheeky extra charges and not very flavoursome food.
Papadum and chutney for £6… It says 4 chutney tray per head and we got 3 in total, one of them half empty.
£4.50 + service charge for TAP WATER for a pregnant lady?! I don’t even know if I have ever paid that price for it

We’ve been coming here for food when we’re in London for about 16 years, and this restaurant never fails to deliver. Our most recent meal in February 2026 was genuinely exceptional. After a chat with our waiter I had a meal that I’d never eaten before and it was delicious. Lovely staff who remember us from our previous visits and beautifully cooked food. We’re very much looking forward to our next visit.

Learnt about this place from a ‘best places to eat in Brick Lane’ post and they weren’t kidding! Absolutely delicious Indian dishes in generous but not overwhelming portions, served by attentive and friendly staff who made us feel so welcome. If you want a quality Indian meal without all the touristy artifice then Eastern Eye should be your destination, no question. 100% would eat here again.
