I had a really disappointing experience at Eastern Carry Out on Piney Branch Rd. The biggest issue? I saw a mouse in the bathroom—which is a huge red flag when it comes to cleanliness and food safety.
On top of that, the woman at the front counter is consistently rude and dismissive. Every time I’ve gone in, she has a serious attitude and acts like customers are a bother. No smile, no basic courtesy.
Between the unclean conditions and the unwelcoming service, I definitely won’t be coming back. There are way better and cleaner spots nearby.

I grew up in this area and the food here was always great. Now its becoming more unsanitized. finding hair and bone chips in the food. even the mumbo sauce which i find always great here.
On another note, the last 2 times i went here to pick up, I ordered 1 meal which average around 10-20$, I check my bank account the same day, i was charged correctly as a pending amount, it wasn’t until the next day the amount increased to 60$. this has happened to me twice here so i stopped coming here. the business here is getting shady and seeing how the front counter ppl are rude, i took it up with my bank instead to resolve it.
Beware, you will have issues here, whether it be rude service, food problems or wait times, etc

I am a normal customer and I do both deliveries and pick up orders from the store, I’ve been coming to this place since the last owners, however, the little Hispanic girl is really rude and has a nasty attitude, she needs to learn her manners! As for the Hispanic boy, I never have a problem with him, he is always helpful and fixes any of the mistakes, if the food comes out undercooked and I ask him to refry it, they will! I once came in, and the little girl took my order, she either 1) packed it with the wrong items or 2) put in the wrong order. The boy on the other hand, he is very helpful, but if the store is very busy, usually on Friday Afternoons and Saturday Afternoons, he may be rude and decline to fix the order, which makes sense, since it’s very busy. If it’s another day or a slow day, he will be very helpful! The food is delicious! I’ve tried the sesame chicken, steamed dumplings and the chicken wings and fried rice! THESE ARE THE BEST YOU WILL FIND IN THE AREA, THE MUMBO SAUCE IS THE BEST! The food here is at a reasonable price! Do beware though, if you want extra sauce, you do need to pay for it, so always bring spare change, they do have a card minimum! So bring Cash And Card!

Not very clean and the lady up front was kinda rude after I had to have her repeat herself 2 times due to loss in translation of accent. Not her fault but could of done less with the attitude. The place could def use housekeeping.

First time visiting the actual carryout and I was happy with the atmosphere. I like that they have tables for those who need to sit in to eat. The customer service was also friendly and efficient. I would visit again when in the area and wanting carryout food.

The lady who’s at the front desk caught an attitude with me and was very rude for no reason, I was a recurring customer and today I ordered in-store and then waited to go to the bathroom for 10 mins because someone was in the bathroom. After that I asked if she knew a bathroom near by and she yelled at me saying that someone’s already in the bathroom, although I clearly asked for a different bathroom near by. I was nothing but polite every time I went there and since I live close I was planning to go there often. But because of what took place today I advise that you shouldn’t go there.

We are visiting family nearby and this is our second time getting Eastern Carryout delivered. The food is really good,delivered hot by Door dash,and we will definitely get it here again!
