Decided to stop in to take out some Chinese food and read the previous reviews. Good food. We got the large portion and it’s REALLY a lot of food. I’m a big pig so I ate it all, but it could have easily been shared. The Kung Po chicken was good, but it could have been spicier. I wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again. The next time I’m passing through Tavares, I probably will. Thanks for the VERY filling meal!

This is perhaps the worst chinese food I have ever attempted to eat. The dough on the dumpling is ridiculously thick. Literally pulled the dough open and ate the middles, which weren’t great. The cream cheese filling literally ran out of the doughy crab rangoon. The beef, chicken, shrimp combo stir fry wasn’t stir fried but essentially boiled in sauce. The star of meal would have earned them two starts if the honey walnut prawn had been even remotely crispy. And, we dined in! Yes, I understand the breading will start to soften in the sauce but it literally was dished from the kitchen and handed to me. Terrible.

They give me wrong order and i call them and the lady owner insult me after me been a customer for over a yr!! She say that i wanna free food and thats why i was calling. I explain to her that i order vegetable fried rice no mushrooms bc i don’t eat meat and that they give me pork fried rice also i order a large order of broccoli in a garlic sauce and they give me a small order and she got mad. She accused me of wanted to get more food for free. Again lets make clear that i have never had an issue with them and we use to order mostly once a wk. I TOLD HER THAT I WAS GONNA RETURN THE FOOD AND TO REIMBURSE MY MONEY BC WHY I WANNA REORDER AFTER SHE INSULTED ME. She was very rude i will definitely wont go there again.

My husband and I order from here once a week. Lunch or dinner, the food has been pretty consistent. The fried rice sometimes isn’t fresh and they are a little heavy handed with the sauce which results in soggy battered mains (ie; General Taco, Sesame Chicken). Otherwise, we are happy campers. Love the Chicken and Broccoli, Honey Garlic Chicken and Fried Dumplings.

Ordered take out tonight: Inv # 00000039 Sweet Sour Pork and Beef and Broccoli. Arrived home without the Sweet and Sour Sauce., I called and shared this with 2 ladies at the East Wok and was merely told you can come back and pick it up, no apologies or we will give you a credit for next time. Poor Customer Service. Won’t be a next time.
