This restaurant is take out only. They have closed their dining room off. Even if you order on the phone you wait 10-20 minutes sitting in a tiny, hot entryway or standing outside. My kung pao chicken was full of carrots and onions but no celery or water chestnuts and few pieces of chicken. My parent’s beef and broccoli was 95% broccoli. Where’s the meat? We had asked for spicy but it was bland. My son’s egg drop soup tasted like thick water. There were chunks of weird gelatinous goo in my hot and sour soup. We will not come back.

The lo mein was very heavy on the soy sauce. We ordered sesame chicken and general tsos chicken they were inedible. The chicken dishes had a tartness that left a tingly feeling in the mouth. The rice and sweet and sour chicken were edible.

Genuine spot ran by the sweetest Chinese man. He serviced me right away despite closing time and got me freshly made food (general tso’s chicken).

Make sure you call and order ahead, otherwise it can be a little bit of a wait. I ordered the general tsos dinner special/combo and it was ready within 15-20 min. Came with the general tsos, side of fried rice, and an egg roll for $9 and some change! Not bad. The food was ok, I don’t have high standards for Chinese food, the fried rice could use a tad bit of seasoning/salt though. But overall good!
Make sure you ask for silverware if you need it (was not in my to go bag)
Also mind boggling to see you can’t find their menu anywhere. So here’s some photos of their menu lol

Usually Chinese food is consistently fine no matter where you go. This place was a little bit of a disappointment.
We ordered the Beef Fried Rice and the Chicken Chop Suey.
The flavors, sauces, rice, and vegetables were all good. The meats, however, were lacking and low quality.
Most of the chicken in the Chop Suey was gristle and cartilage, and we hardly found any beef in the Fried Rice.
I think if you order a vegetarian dish here you should be fine.
They also have no dine-in as of this writing, and they still have pandemic-era serve-through-a-hole-because-you-are-a-biohazard type service.

Chinese-run establishment trying to keep the authenticity of traditional Chinese food alive in a small town. I got the egg drop soup (quart-sized) and downed it all in one night, it was that good. Not too over seasoned, just the right amount of eggs.

Extremely Disappointed – Poor Service & Bad Food
I had a very disappointing experience with China Wok while on vacation with my friends. Since there weren’t many options besides mainstream fast food, I decided to order through Uber Eats. My first order was canceled, so I reordered and called the restaurant to check on it. That’s when they told me they weren’t even accepting Uber Eats orders at the time. Frustrated, I immediately canceled my order and moved on.
Later, I discovered a pending charge from China Wok despite canceling my order. I contacted Uber for help, but they were absolutely useless. To give them one last chance, we decided to go in person and pick up food. Unfortunately, that was another mistake. My General Tso’s chicken was extremely dry and almost inedible. When I tried to contact the restaurant about the issue, my call went straight to voicemail.
This whole experience was beyond frustrating—terrible service, misleading information, and subpar food. I will never be ordering from China Wok again, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid it as well.

The best Chinese food in town. Very fresh food. The buffet is affordable and they are quick to replenish the popular items.

There were two little boys hitting a poor bird with a broom and when we asked them to get an adult so we could get the bird out they refused. We went to the back door and asked for an adult again and a woman started screaming at them then came outside playing a game on her phone, smiled at us then went right back to playing her game. the kids were left unattended and most likely killed the bird. don’t eat here it’s incredibly unsanitary and unprofessional.

Walked into a dirty area where you order food at a window. No dining in. Service and wait time was decent, we didn’t have to wait long. Ordered the hot and spicy beef, sesame chicken, steamed dumplings and fried wonton. Everything was a bit over cooked. The beef was 95% onions and bell peppers the rest was small bits of beef that you really had to search for. Wasn’t spicy at all. QThe sauce wasn’t great….wasn’t completely terrible but could be better. If you’ve had good chinese food, then this will disappoint you. My bar wasn’t set high in a little farm/mountain town. You get what you pay for.
