So actually, the two stars was for the beer I bought, not their food.
Service directly from bartender was good and friendly, especially for their work load, and the beer if self was good. How good you may ask, well I’m sorry to say not $18.40 good! Yeppers you saw that right with a tip I kissed a $20 goodbye just like that! Just so I’m clear this $20 was for 1 regular tap beer! So FYI be sure to bring your gold or platinum card (with some room on it) if you’re planning on buying a round or two for your friends. PS Vail also managed to ruined my favorite story from last year When at stagecoach Lodge (NV side) I happen to stumble in at the right time for happy hour 2for1 beers! After saying yes please to the friendly bartender was presented with a bill for $14+ tip
(2for1 ouch)! Of course at the time I thought that was totally ridiculous, and a complete rip off! WHO KNEW!
BUT IT LOOKS LIKE VAIL RESORTS IS DESPERATE ENOUGH TO TAKE THE CHANCE OF PRICING THEMSELVES RIGHT OUT OF BUSINESS! I mean after all our ski jackets do come have some pretty big pockets, right?

Very enjoyable. Comfortable, warm, rest stop on the mountain and the food is good. Dine indoors or out. Friendly, bilingual servers. Secret: Chili Dog is not on the menu… but they’ll make it for you.

It was plenty warm inside if your need to warm up but we wanted to cold breeze outside and clean air. The wings were very good flavor and the fries covered with garlic were quite tasty. Even though this location doesn’t have the amazing view of Lake Tahoe we enjoyed a very relaxing lunch with No Lines or crowds.

Friendly service and great on ski facilities. Food is reasonable and prices are pretty much in line with on ski expectations!
East Peak Lodge is located at the bottom of the Dipper and Comet Express chairlifts. There is a nice indoor lodge area perfect for arming up and an outdoor area where they run fresh cooked grill / BBQ. The outdoor area has lovely views back up the California side of Heavenly.
Staff were helpful and friendly, they showed caring towards our little ones trying to cater for allergies etc.
I also liked their stated commitment to zero environmental impact by 2030, that’s great to see!!!
Definitely worth popping in if you in need of a refresh!!!

Got another great morning of skiing up and down the hill but this place for a coffee chose to see right across from the bathroom cattle so that I could wing at them when they were coming with my die So when I was ordering my coffee the checkout coffee girl told me that she had gotten into a bad car crash so I hope she’s OK but other than that you can get free refills on coffee so you don’t need to get a larger size for more money just get the small size and refill it as many times as possible without spilling coffee on yourself when you come down the stairs I like to bring my own snacks on the hill so I don’t know how much anything cost at the shop but the coffee was six holes but when you buy your lift ticket there are free bars so you can take free bars and then eat your bars by dipping them into the coffee and then eating them see photosNow let’s talk about the ambience it was like at a ski resort in winter the clientele were loud people but it was great to check out the fashion so I could see what other people were wearing on the slopes I was inspired by pineapple to please it’s a half pineapple on the bottom and then watermelon on top it was a strong look and I approved but I think I would rather look like a burrito just the wrapping of the burrito not the guts five stars
