Service getting a lot better. They took some of my favorite stuff off the menu, and still no hot and sour soup.

The wall decor is ok but it feels like a cafeteria in here. Used to be a cozy venue for Asian food, but they dumped that and went for the cattle pen vibe.

At least the service has gotten better. Perhaps they took my advice and had the awesome server, Reshat, train the others.

Let me preface this review by stating that I have been a fan of Asian food all my life, so when friends and I visited Northern Quest Casino, going to this restaurant was a no-brainer.

Upon being seated in the almost-empty restaurant, we were (after a fair wait) handed the menus. I found it extremely surprising that there was so little selection, so after looking, was going to opt for the green curry. I asked the waitperson about it, and she said that most customers found it “a little bland”, which is completely like what good green curry is NOT. I asked her what she recommended, and she said the beef with broccoli was good.

I decided to try the dish–I’ve had it before, and if done right is quite good. The $24(!) price for it with steamed rice was, in my opinion, outrageous, especially for a food court restaurant. The menu claimed it was made with “shaved beef”.

After another long wait, our dishes arrived. My plate had a large amount of meat and broccoli, and looked like it might be good. It was garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.

One bite in I knew it was terrible. The beef was not “shaved”, rather, it appeared to be unbroken-up ground beef with a quite off-putting texture. The meal had almost no taste, even when I generously daubed it with chili crisp the restaurant provided (it was also very bland–surprising. Maybe it was really old?). I ate very little of the dish, and didn’t even bother taking the left-overs.

Later, my guests and I all had pretty significant intestinal gas and cramps.

This was easily the worst Asian food I have had in over 20 years. Avoid this place like the plague–its menu is very limited, very pricey, and VERY bad!

Almost all of the dishes were great. One was cold on the outside but warm on the inside. The waitress was really busy however, one of the plates sat out too long. I will say she did the best she could. The flavors were great for sure. I’m very adventurous with , it was nice to see a Las Vegas style cuisine. We will be back.

We ventured out to East (Quest Casino) and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Let me tell you, you truly haven’t lived until you’ve shared these two meal at this place with someone who is also a foodie at heart. The teriyaki chicken and walnut shrimp were out of this world delicious. While we didn’t venture into trying any of the fun rice options, opting for the standard steamed rice instead, I can’t wait to be more adventurous on our next visit.

The teriyaki chicken and walnut shrimp were both absolutely lovely dishes that left us wanting more. And let me tell you, when it came to the last GIANT shrimp on the plate, be prepared to battle it out with whoever you are sharing your meal with. It’s a delicious dilemma that you won’t mind facing. Can’t wait to go back and try more of their incredible dishes!

Absolutely delicious and definitely going back again. The beef pho was very tasty, with all the spice a girl could want. The honey walnut shrimp with garlic fried rice is simply the best I’ve ever had!!!! Everything came out pretty quick and the service is impeccable! These photos don’t do the dishes much justice, you must go and try for yourself!!!

We were hoping some of our favorites from Fais were going to be carried into the new restaurant so we were a little disappointed with that but that is where our disappointment ended. Overall we were really enjoyed our visit today. The Beef and Broccoli was great, different than what I’ve experienced before in terms of presentation and flavor but it was really delicious! I had this with the garlic rice and this was my favorite thing today!! Delicious!! Lumpia was so yummy and the portion was pretty generous! My husband had the Ramen and enjoyed it as well. Our server was kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We have already picked out what we will try next time we go!

9.13.23-Had a fantastic dinner here while passing through on our way to the North Cascades last fall. Food was so tasty, presentation was fun. Decor, lighting and ambiance was relaxing. Not many customers. Prices reasonable. The lavender lemonade was awesome!

Yesterday I visited East Pan Asia while on a day trip to Spokane. Angela was amazing!!! We loved her She was super personable and our conversation felt so natural. She really fit our vibe and we enjoyed her so much. She was so kind and I appreciate everything she gave to us. Also huge kudos to the chefs! The food was amazing! My friend and I shared the mochiko fried chicken, pork sui mai, and kimchi fried rice. Angela brought us an additional garlic fried rice which we were so pleased with because we were deciding whether or not to get both. At the end Angela suggested the matcha cake and OH MY GOODNESS! It was amazing! My experience did not disappoint and huge thank you to Angela.

I almost didn’t come here because of the so-so reviews, and I’m so glad I didn’t listen to them! I don’t know if we just lucked out and caught them on a good day, or if the typical casino goers have bland palates and were expecting white people-ized Asian food, or what, but we LOVED our meals! The service was great too. I ordered the vegan yam noodles and steamed chinese broccoli and hoisin, and my mom ordered the dan-dan noodles and egg flower soup. My yam noodles tasted amazing–the sauce was incredibly flavorful and there was lots of veggies. The steamed chinese broccoli and hoisin was incredibly fresh and the perfect steam to light crunch ratio. My mom loved her dan-dan noodles, I wish I would have got a picture of them because it was so fresh looking. She said it was spicy but not overly so. She really enjoyed her soup too. We both ordered the non canned cocktails on the menu, the strawberry bourbon based one and the cucumber vodka based one. They were fresh and delicious, and good value only being $9 (well good value to me, being from somewhere that’ll charge almost double for a mixed drink). The service was great too, and quick. I will return when I’m in town next–their menu looked so good! Don’t sleep on this place–our experience was excellent! Also many of the reviews complain about portions, again I think this has to do with the typical casino goer stereotype :S If you like normal standard sized human portions, then it’s fine. If you want more, there’s a Fatburger in the Casino.
