How did I just find out about this place last year?! The food is fresh and bold! I love the screened in dining room. The end of the year buffet is AMAZING! Great place, and great people.

Seasonal so popular. A bit trendy feel. The food was good but pricey. The service was horrendous! I gave the benefit of the doubt this young one was probably doing dishes, ear buds in having a good time, keeping to himself, and he got plucked to wait on PEOPLE! I know we’re in tough times for staffing … I’d rather have one great server busting their butt serving the whole place than have a server that makes you feel like it doesn’t matter if you’re there or not. Very disinterested, unattentive, and missing in action most of our visit. We had to plead with passing by young ones to get water refills (after patiently waiting – no exaggeration – 15 minutes with empty glasses) we practiced patience with the server – we’ve been there – however, I apologize, acknowledge from afar, attempt to charm? I do not ignore the err of my ways and not break the stoic persona I’ve shown throughout the entire interaction

Worth visiting, but not returning. Menu design is done well, but everything is underwhelming. Each dish is either under-seasoned or over sugared, which is really disappointing. End results are expensive, small portions which are poor representations of the dish.

East of Suez is a comfortable restaurant serving Asian Fusion on Rt.28 in Wolfeboro. I want to give them 3 1/2 stars but google won’t do that. We were seated in the main room at the back in a nicely sunlit room with a lovely view of the back yard and woods. Our waiter brought us the house “chips” which look like a fried foam. They are very tasty with a hint of shrimp flavor.

Service absolutely bombed this experience. Our meal was 45 minutes from drinks to salads. Total meal time was an hour and a half. Even without a child, which we had, that’s unacceptable. Quality doesn’t take that much time. Maybe it’s because I’m used to my hometown that’s known for its eating establishments, but world class food can still be served in the midst of bustling restaurants still in a timely manner. If I’m asking you for the check as you set my main course in front of me, you’ve failed.

Food was awesome, got take out and was ready when I go there. Good sized portions where they take just as good as leftovers. Place reminded me of a camp dinning hall which I loved.

Price & portion size are great. Food we had was good. Great thing about this place is that you can BYOB and enjoy on the cover porch.

Unique BYOB restaurant that is a must try at least once. It is a bit confusing going in and getting seated but once you are inside it has a Sweet homey romantic setting with cozy dinning perfect for a first date or special night out.
