If I lived here, I would probably be the most frequent guest. Unbelievable, incredibly delicious food. If you are in this city, be sure to visit this restaurant. Tika masala was on top. Nice food very tasty. Starters were served in tapas dishes which was different. The Paignton restaurant is small compared to the one in Torquay so atmosphere was good. Parking is a nightmare. But that does seem to be the norm in Paignton and Torquay in general. Food prices well and service was great. Would recommend and visit again. If I’m going to be really fussy would like the mint dip to be a bit stronger in mint.

East in the West Paignton is always our number 1 place to go for a curry in the bay. The food is exceptional, always served beautifully with flavours you can’t get anywhere else. The restaurant is small but offers that very cosy vibe, with the lighting always being on point. The service is amazing, especially Maddie who always makes our nights better and is a very welcomed face whenever we walk in. If you’ve not been here before, I really urge you to try it, you will not be disappointed.

Service wasn’t the best however. Had to ask a couple of times for drinks and at one stage all the staff were standing behind the bar all texting on their mobiles whilst we were sat trying to get their attention to order.
Had the black pepper lamb main course. Wasn’t nice at all. Of course due to the description of the dish I expected it to have a prominent black pepper flavour, which I like, however, it tasted like a bucket of black pepper had been dropped into the pan.

We sat in for a meal, it wasn’t busy, but lots of people picking up takeaways. The food was really tasty, hot freshly cooked. It was clean and the staff vert attentive. We would highly recommend.

This is the home of great Indian food. The establishment is spotlessly clean but importantly the staff are brilliant. Attentive and knowledgeable – nothing was too much especially the front of house manager Maddie.
Lots of our group go regularly and will continue to do so.

Nice location on the high street and restaurant has a big capacity to take in lot of people. Service was really good by the people at reception and also by the person who was taking order. Food delivery was quick as well. Taste of the food was good, not superb or excellent but we liked it and is a place to go once. Panner masala was to sweet, daal makhni and naan was too awesome in taste. Chole and Okra was good in taste.
