This place is pretty good. Have dined in here before, but this time we ordered online for delivery. It was delivered in a reasonable amount of time, we live fairly close to here. Ordered the “Detroit Style” pizza, which was very tasty. Only thing is we didn’t realize they are only 8″ x 10″ inches, almost small enough for one person if you’ve got a good appetite. We should of ordered two of these, so we’ll know next time.

I was a little nervous to try this place as there were mixed reviews on the vegan pizza. So glad I gave it a shot! I got the spicy eggplant and puttanesca pizzas and the caesar salad. The house vegan Caesar dressing was wonderful and I loved the croutons and roasted pepitas. The spicy eggplant pizza was simple but so delicious. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and I love how you’re given fresh basil to put on top. The puttanesca was pretty good but a couple thoughts for the owner/chef. There was a little too much sauce/cheese so the crust gets a little soggy and it’s hard to eat. Maybe a little less sauce/cheese would be better. I actually really enjoyed the puttanesca cold! The flavors were brighter or something. Also, the crust on the pizzas was incredible as well. I definitely will be back to try their other vegan options including the sausage and kale one. Sounds great! Thank you for having such great vegan options!

We received a “sorry-about-the-WI-FI-pizza” from our Airbnb hosts last night. Apart from our house host ordering it for pick-up ( ), it was fantastic! This is the meatball pizza. It was served with fresh basil . We would definitely visit this place again. Don’t over look it if you are in the area! Topping list could be inclusive.

After nearly two years of living in Montavilla, we finally tried East Glisan Pizza Lounge’s Detroit-style pizza and it is PHENOMENAL. I dare say it’s the best Detroit-style pizza in all of Portland. A perfectly fried, crispy crust. Loads of goey brick cheese. A perfectly balanced sauce. And they use old-world style pepperoni that get crispy and cup when cooked.

Do yourself a favor and eat here. Good atmosphere, good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Literally cannot say one bad thing about this place. Saskia took really good care of us when we were there. They have several options for NA beer, which I really appreciate. The deep dish pizza was slamming, and they serve generous portions of ranch which they don’t charge for. Will be back soon!

Best pizza in Portland!!! East Glisan is always at the top of the list when our family of foodies visits Portland. Amazing pizza and quick service! My personal favorites are Breadsticks, Kale Caesar salad, the Puttanesca pizza, and a Yellow Submarine to drink (you’ll the the giant square ice cube!). Oh… and you need to try the Detroit pepperoni pizza too! Yum.

This place is amazing. The quality of their ingredients and preparation of food is impeccable. If you’re looking for a nice introduction to their deliciousness, the Detroit-style pizza is f’ing unbelievable. Everything from pizza to sourdough bread sticks to lasagna to meatballs… it’s all made with absolute love. Very impressive.

East Glisan Pizza Lounge is a hip pizza joint that serves delicious drinks, super yummy pizza and much more! I LOVE their Detroit Pizza, and the Capicola pizza is equally as good. The lasagna is served on Sundays only – wow, just wow. They have this hot oil on the table that is so good, that they have to lock it up because patrons kept stealing it!! It makes my mouth water simply writing this review. Do yourself a favor and come here! They are only open for dinner service, so plan accordingly.
