Have given this place four times . Each time is something different , first time we went and ordered food to go they completely forgot the veggie plate when called to tell them they didn’t even write down the order for that … second time we went we got all the plates but the veggie plate was put in the bag sideways bringing all the veggies together looking like dog food …
We tried to order catfish dinner as it’s on the menu and woman very rudely said they don’t do that on Sundays ( even though it’s on their menu ) when I picked up the order I mentioned it and very rudely blew me off …
Third time we ordered a bacon cheeseburger and they forgot the bacon ?? Like how is that even possible …
The last time we went we got another veggie plate and was missing two out of the four veggies ?
All times we have called to tell them with no resolution . I was excited to give them a chance but after four times we won’t be back … and we will continue going to marybells where they have great customer service and food and 9/10 get ur order right

Please note that this is not the old East End Cafe, which many if not all of the reviews here represent. This is now East End Diner which just opened mid-February 2026. We went for dinner and the service was good, food came faster than fast, and everything was tasty. It’s nice to have another decent dining option in the area! Check them out and support another local Hickman County business!

Our waitress was great. Fantastic to see a young person so attentive and happy to be of service. I’m a hiring manager and notice these things. Don’t know her name but definitely keep the young girl with long blonde hair. Food came fast and was hot and delicious. If you haven’t had the hawaiian burger stop what you’re doing and go try it. Yum! This was our first time in since they reopened and we were not disappointed. Thank you East End Cafe.

Over the last couple years, we went to the old East End Cafe many times. It was always a great place to grab a meal. Good food, good service, and reasonable prices. The fare was very American. For that, I would have given it five stars.
I read they had a change in ownership. It has. Now, it’s a Mexican restaurant. It’s good as a Mexican restaurant (at least the one time we went recently) but, personally, I liked the old East End Cafe better. It now has a different name that I don’t recall.
As a Mexican restaurant, the food was pretty good but certainly pricier. I’d maybe rate it three or four stars.

We had the catfish special. Fish was hot and crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. Hush puppies and white beans delicious. Some of the best coleslaw I have ever eaten! The restaurant is very clean and the decor is relaxing. Can’t wait to try other menu items.

Their food us pretty good. They don’t have a menu that you can take with you nor is there one online. The chocolate pie was pretty good. I don’t know if it’s related or not, but the day I went here later that night someone tried to transfer a large sum of money from my account to a navy credit union account. My bank didn’t let it go through but it did seem odd it happened the same day I used my card there.
