The atmosphere was beautiful. Staff was nice overall.
Food was alright. Nothing too glamorous. I do love the fries. You have to try their fries. I love the thin cut fries. Delicious!

Advice for the management team tho. If the server has too much on her / his plate maybe give them less tables.
We were sitting in for almost 20 mins to get our water filled. And food runner get the table number wrong 2 times. It’s a small dinning room. They are not trained enough before you put them out there by themselves.

It’s a nice restaurant, if you charge people 25$for average appetizer 40$ for main dish at least you can do is to train your staff right and make sure guest has a wonderful experience.

That just my opinion

I had a wonderful time at East End Bistrot! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostesses and the beautiful architecture. We were sat and immediately greeted by Matt, our server who was extremely caring and knowledgeable of the menu. The appetizers, mains and dessert were ALL amazing and presented beautifully. Throughout the service we were consistently checked up on by the server assistants, our server and the manager. I can’t explain how much the staff really cares for the people who dine here. Every part of this dinner was intimate and catered to us individually. I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will for sure be coming back!! Thanks East End team

I have no clue what happens in this chef’s head, but I want more! Everything was beyond amazing. It was so hard to pick of favorite of the 4 plates pictured, but probably the foie gras with the apples! That caramel miso sauce was heavenly. Also had their soufflé with ice cream and profiteroles! And they did NOT disappoint! Shoutout to Diego! His service was on point! We will definitely be back!

The food was very good. I would have liked a bit more options but the steak was cooked perfectly. The interior is amazing and there’s a large outdoor area for sitting as well – all very posh. Service was great, which is to be expected in a high end restaurant and they did not disappoint. Also a lot of great cocktails to choose from.

This is the best restaurant in Raleigh, hands down! VERY expensive, but everything on the menu is as close to perfection as it gets. Make your next celebratory meal here.

The first time we came to East End Bistrot was for my birthday in May. From the reservation desk with the host and throughout the entire experience we were well taken care of.

After the amazing first experience, the bar was set high. We were concerned that perfection couldn’t be replicated and may be let down the second time. We were ABSOLUTELY wrong. We were greeted this week with a welcome back by the same friendly host and GM of the restaurant! Truly a WOW moment to be remembered. East End has officially been crowned as our favorite restaurant in Raleigh, and I consider myself a foodie.

The filet is amazingly tender, the steak au povire is great, the gratin dauphinois is otherwordly, and the brussels are a treat! All the cocktails we’ve gotten have been very flavorful and complex. Our servers have provided excellent recommendations, been attentive, and delivered impeccable service. Everyone truly works together like an orchestra at this restaurant, adding their own unique impressions to create an unforgettable experience. Thank you to everyone that is involved in making this GEM of a restaurant possible. We already look forward to our next visit!

TL;DR: Don’t think about it, just go! You won’t be disappointed!

Although we already had high expectations coming here, we were amazed by how great of a dining experience we had. Chef William truly is an artist and master of his craft. Each dish (and we tried a bunch!) could be it’s own main event and it all delivered on the tasting experience. The staff was all wonderful- Friendly, attentive and engaging from the moment we walked in until the very end. This is our new favorite place (sorry Crawford & Son). Don’t skip on the cheesecake!

We celebrated our 15th anniversary here, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The space is intimate and perfectly sized, with a wonderful vibe. The staff provided the best service we’ve experienced in the area—exceptionally attentive, friendly, and genuinely easy-going.

The food was absolutely divine. I’d describe it as French with an Asian twist. We ordered five appetizers and a main, and every dish was outstanding. Our favorites were the flounder and the steak Diane. Chef William also surprised us with a bluefin tuna dish that was incredible, and later stopped by our table to introduce himself. He’s clearly a warm-hearted person whose relaxed, generous presence sets the tone for the entire restaurant.

As we were leaving, we thanked our fantastic waiter, Mason, and mentioned it was our anniversary and that the evening couldn’t have been better. On our way out, he handed us a to-go bag with a baguette and a cheesecake—which may have been the best dessert I’ve ever had. East End Bistrot is now my new favorite place in the RTP area.

We came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day, and as someone who appreciates high-quality food and frequently dines at Michelin-starred restaurants, I was pleasantly surprised. Given how challenging it can be for the kitchen and staff to handle the pressure of such a busy occasion, they did an exceptional job.

The food was outstanding and arrived very quickly. The oysters, tuna crudo, and steak were all delicious, and the red wine by the glass was excellent. Beyond the food, we were truly impressed by how well everything was organized—the attention to detail was remarkable.

Our server, Liza, was amazing and took wonderful care of our table. A big thank you to the entire team for an incredible experience! We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back.

I entered East End Bistrot with a bit of skepticism, as I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay Michelin-star-level prices for a place in Raleigh that doesn’t yet hold that title. But after experiencing the restaurant, I can confidently say the price is more than fair given the exceptional food and service. From the first bite to the last, the quality is outstanding, and it’s evident that every dish is carefully crafted with expertise. The caviar service is a highlight—absolutely classic and executed to perfection.

The wine pairing is also worth every penny. The sommelier, Gregory Martinez, is an absolute gem. His knowledge of wine is vast, but it’s his personality that truly makes the experience unforgettable. Not only is he incredibly personable and hilarious, but he’s also a master at pairing wines in a way that elevates the meal. Gregory is the heartbeat of this restaurant, and honestly, he’s the main reason we keep coming back. I joke that I want to be his friend, but truly, he makes each visit feel like an experience rather than just a meal. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend checking it out—it’s an experience that’s definitely worth the price.
