Easy Dumplings House was recommended by a friend, and it turned out to be a great spot. Almost every dish we ordered was solid, and the flavors felt authentic and comforting.

Our two favorites were:

Guo Bao Rou (Crispy Sweet & Sour Pork) – perfectly crispy on the outside with a well-balanced sweet and tangy sauce. Definitely the highlight of the meal.

Stir-fried Pork Intestine – very flavorful and well prepared, with no unpleasant smell and a great chewy texture.

Other dishes we enjoyed:

Stir-fried Cauliflower – simple but well executed and great with rice.
Hot & Sour Beef Soup – tangy and spicy, very appetizing.
Pickled Cabbage with Vermicelli Stew – comforting and full of traditional Northeastern Chinese flavor.

Overall, this is a very solid restaurant with authentic flavors. Definitely worth visiting if you’re craving Chinese homestyle dishes.

Probably some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in the DMV area. I honestly don’t understand why this place is rated so low! If it weren’t in DC, I’d eat here every single day. Yes, it’s that good!

I dined in and ordered the Kung Pao Chicken and the Mapo Tofu. The chicken was packed with flavor, and the portion sizes were fantastic for the price. I honestly don’t think there are many affordable spots with food this good.

The tofu was also great! It was a bit spicy, so if you don’t handle heat well, just let your server know and they’ll adjust it immediately. The food came out super fast, in under 10 minutes, and the service was excellent.

Take the time to check this place out. It’s now my go-to spot for savory, spicy Chinese food!

Service was great and the food did not take long to prepare. The dumplings were good but not great. The steamed beef dumplings were tasty but the pan fried pork dumplings were much better. The crispy tofu with red pepper was delicious. The dan dan mien seemed to be like udon noodles but otherwise were tasty. Neither the tofu or dan dan were very spicy. The pot with squash, beef, corn, etc. was very good and an excellent portion size for the price.

Walked into this place for a late night dinner/drinks. Its one of the places open late in Rockville area.

Ordered drinks and food and dumplings at the same time. Partial of our drinks came right away and then food and then dumplings. Had to ask for a couple of times to get the missing drink. We wished the apps (dumplings) came out first with drinks.

The food portion was more than expected and spicy fish dish was one of the best. Mongolian beef was cooked perfectly.
The service could be better and servers should be more attentive.

Overall, it was a good experience.

Love their food!!! They are always good!! I had house dumpling, which is my favorite! It looks like something that my grandma would make it at home, but the flavors that they have is amazing!!! Just fyi if you like a little quiet place, this is not the place. It is always party atmosphere!!

They got a few dishes i do crave and will order every single time. Some of the other dishes are okay, good but not amazing. Still a great time every time and i do order weekly my favorite dish for dinner when i don’t feel like cooking.

– Fries Intestines with Chili Peppers
– Northern Pork (Dong Bei Guo Bao Rou)
– Triple Vegetable (Eggplant, Potatoes, Peppers)
– Seafood Fried Rice

This place is not too bad, the food was 4/5, minus 1 star for too salty for my taste. The price was reasonable and the portions were great! If you like northeast style of Chinese cooking, give this place a try. We ordered lots of dishes, yang chow fried rice, it’s not the traditional style, but they added sausage! Garlic eggplant, it wasn’t garlicky but plenty of spice. Chicken and broccoli was different from all other take out places, bean curd strips with pork stir fried, and salute fish with veggies. Also had the triple steamed dumplings, which was good! Over all with price and 18% tip auto add on to the bills came out to be $125. Will be back again if we are around the area. The service was quick and efficient, few dish items were not available but I think its place should be a solid 4.

This 5-star review is for Miss Vicky. We visited this restaurant after 19:00 and ordered $27 buffet. The food variety and quality are good. Miss Vicky delivered excellent service and I was so impressed with her work attitude and the way she handled orders and customer requests. She always smiles and cares about our experience. When I took two ice creams, she gave me napkins for me to hold the ice creams. So considerate! And after we left, I left my water bottle on the table. When she found that, she immediately came out to find us. She excellent service and great personality really made our day. Kudos to her

I extremely disappointed. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants but it has gone down hill. I came in today for lunch and ordered the house dumplings, the Szechuan noodles and the popcorn chicken (I got extra to take home to my spouse). When the food came the noodles and the popcorn chicken were extremely bland. No flavor, no spice, no heat, even though is says on the menu they’re spicy, which I wanted. After trying to get someone’s attention for 10 minutes someone finally came over. I told them the food was bland and not spicy like it should have been. I asked them for hot sauce or something. The waiter said he’d take care of it. He took the plate back to the kitchen and returned in LESS THAN TWO MINUTES WITH THE EXACT SAME DISH. No spice or seasoning was added. No side of chili paste or hot sauce was brought. Just the exact same bland dish. I’m not sure if he didn’t care or didn’t think I would noticed but I was appalled. I asked for the check and left. I wasted $50 on breaded chicken that had less flavor than McDonalds chicken nuggets and plain noodles. I had to go next door to the Ughyur restaurant to get a decent meal.

We came here for all you can eat bbq and had the premium option. The server was very nice we were accommodating to allergies and dietary restrictions like nut allergies and gluten free options for people in my group.

The cold noodles were especially good, highly recommend to try. Each order of meat portion was very small so when you order on the iPad just order in larger quantities and you can only order in increments of 10 minutes before you can send another order in for meat.

The atmosphere was busy they said they were strict about the 90minute dining time limit but we went over by a bit and we were fine just as long as you’re not there forever don’t worry about trying to rush to finish eating.

The server despite being busy came to check the meat and cut up meats for us too! Great experience and the prices was great too!
