First time visiting and it was PACKED. The parking lot is a nightmare, but makes sense since it’s delicious. The line was chaotic but actually moved very quickly, but it’s extremely loud inside due to the amount of people. 3 custard flavors (chocolate, vanilla, and a flavor of the day). I got the turtle sundae ($6) and it was delicious! The service was great and even for how busy it was the workers all continued to keep a positive attitude.

We stopped for ice cream last night around 6 and the restaurant was PACKED! The line was so long we nearly left – I’m so glad we stayed because they had so many people working that we breezed through the line in only about 5 minutes. Even though they were so busy, the staff was calm and collected – and as per usual, the ice cream was delicious. I love the redesign of outside! The picnic tables are a great addition and I can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been coming here since the early 90s and can’t get enough! East Coast Custard is so nostalgic, high-quality and truly a treat! They have very generous portions and really load up on the toppings and mix-ins!

My cone was made by Stevie Wonder’s Sister!
While the custard was good, the remodel looked great, & the staff was courteous. I didn’t rate it a 5 because the young lady that made my cone must have been Stevie Wonder’s sister, because my cone was a hot mess. Couldn’t even make it to the car as it was falling off. Went back in & got a cup.

Stopped by when I was visiting Lyndhurst (I hadn’t been back in 30 years!). Absolutely delicious custards! Taking the family with me next summer and this is absolutely one of our stops.

A must if you are in the area. The frozen custard is great. Melts quickly, so be prepared if you get a large cone. The ice cream cookies are incredible, I recommend the mint. Vanilla and chocolate are two classics, or you can try the pumpkin (seasonal).
Overall, great oldschool vibes. Great place to go at night and eat on one of the benches on a hit summer day.

Just LOVE LOVE LOVE the updated facilities. Quick pleasant service. Delicious frozen custard. Lots of families enjoying the outside seating. Very clear understanding menu with size examples.

Yum! We don’t have many custard options at home, so it’s always a treat to get some. I had a chocolate concrete with peanut butter cups added in and it was to die for. Reasonably priced. Staff was fast and friendly. You really can’t ask for better.
