After some expected growing pains, this restaurant has become great. The food is fantastic, and the servings are large. I’ve become a regular. The owner Tom is a good guy, and truly cares about the food. He takes pride in bringing truly authentic eastern American food here.

Finally! Another new real restaurant and not some fast food joint, has arrived in Warrenton! I’m not sure I understand some of these 1 star reviews. I think some people just want to see new ventures fail. Don’t hesitate to try this place out!
From the moment we stepped inside the newly clean, renovated space, the experience was great. From being greeted with a warm, sweet smile, to the attentive service, to the tasty/huge portions of food, until the moment we walked out, and were bid a nice farewell, we enjoyed our experience.
The menu is good; not too big, but just big enough to make you ponder on your selection.
I got the Pittsburg Stacker with shaved beef, which was HUGE. You have a choice of meats to choose from, stacked between two slices of yummy bread with coleslaw, cheese, and fries. I ended up taking half home, and ate it for lunch the next day. It was very filling!
My husband got a burger and enjoyed it immensely. Real, homemade burger pattie. Not some packaged Costco prefab burger. The fries were crispy and tasty. The pirogies were definitely drenched in a lot of butter, but they were tasty and tender. I’m used to a more browned pierogi, but a small side of these were fine. I’m not sure I’d order the larger portion. The sautéed onions that accompanied the pirogies tasted good on my sandwich, so they didn’t go to waste!
What impressed us most was the owner came out to thank us and check if we enjoyed our food. That’s definitely an authentically east coast thing to do.
We will be back. I’m looking forward to trying a pizza and calzone.

A new restaurant in the area to try! The entire staff is super nice and is really trying to make a good impression. The service was quick and efficient – we never felt ignored. There isn’t a huge menu, but they seem to specialize in what they do have. The stromboli and calzone are massive (see picture), so be prepared to share lots and/or have leftovers. And this stromboli was amazing (the pierogis and fries were also great)! The prices were also very reasonable, probably cheaper than the average in the area. Overall, this was a very positive visit and we will be returning! Great job all!

Their sign outside said they were open until 10 pm on the Friday we were there. We arrived shortly after 7 pm and heard the staff tell another table that they were closing at 8 pm. Never did tell us. The waiter walked away when I said I would be ready to order as soon as my husband finished his ordering. Didn’t come back for at least 10 minutes. There appeared to be only the one other table that was occupied, but our order took longer than one would expect even for a very busy dining room. My husband was ready to leave, but I wanted to see how the food was as there are limited restaurants in the area. My food (chicken parmesan on noodles) was so severely overcooked they must have forgotten it was in the fryer. The garlic bread (bun it would have been served on if I had chosen the sandwich instead of noodles) was also overcooked. The noodles were actually quite delicious. My husband’s salad looked great, but as it was almost 8 by the time we got our food, he just got a to go box and took it home to eat later. They also had jarring music playing in the background (rap and/or heavy metal) that was so loud that it made conversation very difficult. Definitely won’t be going back there or recommend it to anyone else. Sad.

I ordered some food from Doordash and got the 1/2 grown up tomato soup, NY style deli pickle, and loaded fries.
1/2 Grown Up tomato soup was eh. The customer service was a 5/5 when I called with questions. I was concerned about the sourness of the tomato soup and the wait staff, owner, and cook all tried it and assured me it was fine and their soup is usually sour yet sweet. Its “zing” is not to my liking personally, it was too sour.
Everything else like the loaded fries and pickle was AMAZING. The pickle tasted so refreshing with it’s crunch. Loaded fries was dense with cheese. It’s always fun to find favorites at restaurants I have never tried before.

So i got the Italian Sandwich. My friends and family ordered apps and other foods. Apps took 42 minutes to get to us, the food was immediately served after.
Sandwich was advertised as 12 inch, it was 8. Was supposed to have several types of meat in it, it had almost a half inches thick stack of ham, and one layer of whats i assume was pepperoni. There was a single slice of american cheese, which wasnt bad. Then there was a large, and i do mean large, pile of shredded iceburg lettuce.
Which had been heated with the sandwich, robbing the lettuce of its only redeemable factor, the crunch. The peppercinni slices were perfect, not too thick, not too thin.
Another frustrating factor was the fact that the whole sandwich was heated with the lettuce on its, so when it sweat, the sandwich became soggy.
The italian dressing however was amazing. Don’t get me whron, i wish there was any other flavor to the sandwich then italian dressing but it was a soggy hoagie style hot dog bun with a brick of ham and italian dressing.
This was all that came with my 20$ + meal.
I am very dissatisfied with it.

Alternatively
My friend got the Philly sandwich, it looked, smelled, and apparently tasted amazing. It was just over a foot long and you could tell was carefully made.
Calzone was massive, and well seasoned, although the red sauce was heavy on the tomatoe paste, and light on seasonings resulting in a super thick, sweet sauce.

The staff here was amazing, and very friendly, but as i can only fully comment on the food that i got, i gotta say that this was probably the worst italian sandwich ive eaten since subway.

Update:
So been a while since i last stopped her, and i went back.
This trip i had the calzone, and fries.
The depth of flavor this go round was amazing, with the ingredients, the cooking, the sauces.
The sauces that i got this go round were a meal unto themselves, i cannot express the difference in my last trip versus this one.
Please, if you get a chance, stop by and get something, try anything.

UPDATE-LOOKS TO BE PERMANENTLY CLOSED. They weren’t busy at all, but service was slow and inattentive. One staffer (owner?) was having a VERY loud conversation a couple of booths over, for about 10 minutes straight- she wasn’t using her indoor voice, oblivious to restaurant operations. Music was mostly mostly medium- hard rock and way too loud. Food was mediocre. Good sized portions. Fair price. Note that glassed in storage area off to the side was hap-hazardly filled with all sorts of extra equipment and odd other items- didn’t inspire confidence in cleanliness/organization/good management.

Outstanding!!…
Gave East Coast Eats a try since we drive by it everyday. Was not disappointed. Food is very flavorful, and the portions are really impressive. Tom the owner and our chef is a great and friendly guy…came out to our table and chatted with us like we were old friends. Told us all about the food and where it came from…you could tell he is very passionate about what he does. Matt our waiter was friendly and laid back, and very attentive…again…it was like we had known each other for years. The only criticism I could say about the place is that it could use a little more atmosphere. Perhaps some artwork on the walls emphasizing East Coast life/culture, or others things that again makes you feel like you’re back east, but that’s it. This place is great, and will definitely be going back. Take a drive to Warrenton and give East Coast Eats a try!

Ignore the one star reviews, those people either don’t know what good food is or they are just review bombing. The food was incredible, both in quality and quantity. The fries especially were amazing and well worth having. The service was both quick and polite, and we never had a long wait or felt ignored by the staff. I even ran into the owner as we were leaving and he took the time to talk with me and see how our experience was. I would definitely recommend this restaurant anytime you are in the area.
