I ordered the orange chicken. The food and flavor was on point! Service good! Food was hot, fast and fresh with great portions, it’s one of my top Chinese food spots on the east side. Next time I will be trying the General Tso because the pictures looks great.

I’m so, so, so, so glad that I’m one of those happy customers! My General Tao’s, plain fried rice and shrimp egg rolls were delish! This is the best Chinese food I’ve had post covid, when Hunans on Coventry started their decline with smaller portions and less taste. My food from East China was superb! It tasted clean, not greasy or salty, and very flavorful! I’ve tried at least 6 Chinese restaurants post covid, and none lived up to East China’s quality and taste! This is definitely my new goto for Chinese food! The beautiful young lady at the counter was friendly and professional. Not sure what lady people are complaining about in other reviews, but the young lady with the long dark hair can’t be her. I’m looking forward to a long relationship with East China! If I had one complaint, it’s that I had to pay for my yum yum sauce. At least one yum yum should be free, but overall I was pleased and have a new Chinese food home! Portion sizes are great too! 2026 is starting out great in my takeout food aspect!

Wow! This place is awesome, they really go the extra mile, all the way down to a paper towel in the egg roll so it wouldn’t be too greasy! I’m very impressed! The rice tasted homemade and the chicken crispy with a delightful sauce. Great customer service too, can’t wait to come back here! One of my new favorite places to eat in Cleveland.

You can’t tell a book by its cover! When I want some good Chinese food, don’t want to wait a long time and want to pay a reasonable price…this is the place.
Great selection on the menu. Good soups, egg rolls and entrees.
My wife was skeptical because we like Asian food out at nice restaurants, and this is not that place. But, since I am picking up, it’s tasty and it comes home hot, she likes it. Generally don’t wait more than 10 min.
On the street parking and a large parking lot is just across the street. Easy to find next to the Fire Dept and across from Ace Hardware on Chagrin, just east of Lee Rd in Shaker Hts

It just isn’t the same. My egg fo young was overly cooked , My egg roll was so greasy. It was unreal! the sauce for my chicken and broccoli was so thick. Fried rice was so plain… I miss the old owners.
