This place is GREAT, many good food options at an excellent price if you come at the right time. You can push the tables together to seat a big crew. You don’t come for a special atmosphere or fancy delicacies you come for VALUE and VALUE YOU WILL GET

We wanted to come back to this place as it has been a while since we last came. This buffet’s menu has always been delectable and delicious. We were seated right away for an early dinner. Service is always top notch and the ambiance is great! Good for group dinners or just a regular family night dinner. They offer senior discounts for age 65 and over. This restaurant has been a regular for locals and visitors alike. We were glad to have come back to savor the deletable hot dishes. Price is $24.99 for dinner and really affordable and hoping that they do not increase their pricing. Kudos to the owner for maintaining the same quality from the start of their opening!

Kind staff and so many veggie options. Several tofu dishes. Stir fry can be without meat. Went here on an outing with family and we all could eat something! The taro bunny was extremely cute!

We had a very good experience overall! The service was great and the selection of food choices was impressive. Everything was fresh and enjoyable. However, I would recommend improving the sushi selection by offering a bit more variety and using higher-quality ingredients to make it even better. With that small improvement, this place could easily be a five-star experience.

Well we requested a table for six, but since a couple of parties/get together’s were taking place the wait was a little longer than usual.
The hostess did acknowledge us and explained the seating arrangements, so a party of six is larger than normal for Sunday lunch.
Thank you to East Buffet, we shall return and enjoy a great meal.

What a wonderful experience here at East Buffet. The hospitality was outstanding and excellent. Greeted upon entering and was seated right away. Staff was professional and courteous.
Let’s dive right into the food selections. I must say, quite an option and a couple of new items since the last time I’ve visited. The food was delicious and available for serving.
Definitely recommend this location due to their amazing customer service and deliciousness.

I was at the Casino nearby, got hungry and decided to give this place a try, it did not disappoint, the sweet and sour soup is one of the best I’ve had, the seafood bake had some premium cheese, All the meat was juicy and tender, ice cream selection is great and top quality. Service was attentive and efficient. Will be back.

When we were sat at the table a waitress with a ponytail and red hair came by and threw the straws on my dad ( great birthday gift) and then smiled at him then me sitting next to hm. We all looked at her confused and upset that she’d do something rude like that when we hadn’t even interacted before the throwing of the straws. Only reason is racial prejudice, why else would you be so rude to people you’ve never met? She got so visibly frustrated when a little hispanic boy was crossing her path and when she saw I had seen her reaction she just stormed off. POC don’t need this!! Especially not for $128 for 5!

Hawaiian Gardens, CAㅣEast Buffet
It was my first time in Hawaiian Gardens and it happened to be around noon so my husband searched a bit and we decided to go try East Buffet.
There were quite a lot of people at noon on Friday. The receptionist was a middle-aged uncle who kindly greeted us and led us to our seats where was literally 2 steps away from aisle to get food.
Price: Very reasonable price.
An adult is $16.99 for lunch (11 am to 3:30 pm) from Monday to Friday, $21.99 for dinner (3:30 pm to 9 pm), and $22.99 for weekends and holidays.
Ambiance: There were plenty of seats, and dining environment was very clean. However, the lighting was a bit dim and interior was old-fashioned.
Food: Side dish, sashimi area, meat, vegetables, seafood, soup, desserts, fruits (it had cherries!), ice creams, and a separated teppanyaki area.
The most part impressed me was the size of fried shrimps was big and fresh and the Chinese hot and sour soup contained a lot of mushrooms. Sushi tasted fresh, too.
Service: The waitresses cleaned the table diligently and few can speak Mandarin.
There are 2-hour limitation for enjoying the buffet.
I would say overall it was worth the money.
