Somewhat unassuming from the outside but you MUST give it a try! Great wait staff, funky but not crazily so atmosphere, and above all GREAT FOOD!

Food was great. Service was slow. Took over 25 minutes to get BBQ, which would have already been cooked. All they would have had to do was plate it. We sat outside to eat, which was nice as we had a dog with us. However, we were not brought any plates and had to tear the to-go containers apart. None the less the food was good for the price.

Good food, nice folks, service is great until they get slammed, kitchen too small to handle it all, sometimes not enough wait staff. If your not in a hurry eat here. I recommend the endless summer salad and the teriyaki wings, the brisket with brown gravy is awesome too! Oh and go for karaoke fun too.

My wife and I found this hidden gem on our recent vacation in Berkeley springs and have will definitely be returning any time we come back through. The breakfast is fantastic, large portions and great flavor. Waitstaff is very helpful and friendly, and this restaurant just has a very homey vibe. A must try for everyone!

Great food. Love the corn in the house salad. Ruben… soft meat with nice flavor. The chili is perfectly flavored, they use their brisket. Fresh and delicious. If you have the need to wonder…. there is a flea market of sorts.

Wonderful food, excellent prices and very laid back attitude. I have never had anything on the menu that was not delicious, house-made and great quality, from their salads to their BBQ. Breakfast all day, and a darned good breakfast too – home made corned beef hash, home made hash browns, smoky bacon, and a fresh fruit cup… yum!

Good food! Kinda strange wait staff but friendly. Waitress with half shaved hair and a guy wearing a floor length skirt but great people! Had a West “By God” Virginia style of gyro that was fantastic! Folks we were with had wings and BBQ and said that was good as well. Kinda strange decor too but it was clean. Long story even longer enjoyed the experience but it’s a piece of genuine WV kitsch. Go expecting odd.

Waited 15 minutes before we were even looked at by the waitress…. There were 4 there. All looked like high school kids.
Heat was broken it was about 68 in there. Restroom also out of order.
Food came. Horrible. Burnt potatoes…. No flavor. Even salt and pepper didn’t help.
I could probably let that go but that along with the waitress was just a bad decision of ours as we should have walked out. The waitress, who is obviously one of the areas teenagers, certainly proved to be a candidate for Dr. Phil. She was rude, obnoxious and very disrespectful. Had no business being there- she will be found in 10 years in a van down by the river I’m sure. The teenagers in the area just don’t get it. We are the ones hiring them … We are the ones they should respect. Sad sad sad. Don’t waste the trip.

The staff was very friendly but the food left something to be desired. We had the Reuben and a turkey sandwich which were bland and messy. The homemade fries were fresh and delicious though. Maybe it’s because we’re from VA and don’t understand the liquor laws but it is my understanding it is legal for a restaurant to serve beer at 4pm on a Sunday..they have advertised online and even on the menu that they serve beer but when we asked for the beer menu, they refuse, saying they don’t serve alcohol. That was confusing and frustrating because we chose that restaurant based on its reviews and the fact that they advertised craft beer.

We were surprised they do not serve beer (alcohol). Website really should be updated so anyone looking understands this.
We did love our food and servers were great and reasonable prices, but since it was our anniversary and we both really wanted a beer, we opted for an appetizer only and then went somewhere else. 🙂
