A cozy, down-to-earth coffee shop adjoined with a social club & jazz lounge inside an old greenhouse. The menu items are unique and flavor-forward. Definitely need to come back for a jazzy evening!

Let’s be real… this place is legendary.
Earth Coffeehouse is easily one of the standout spots in Toledo, and honestly, it would hold its own in just about any big city. The vibe is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly cool — the kind of place where you walk in once and suddenly feel like a regular.
The coffee and tea menu is incredible, with seasonal specials that rotate regularly and keep things interesting. Whether you’re a coffee nerd or just need a solid cup to start your day, they absolutely deliver.
The food deserves its own shoutout too — legitimately great, not just “good for a coffee shop.” And if you’re gluten-free, you’re in luck because they’ve got some awesome options that don’t feel like an afterthought.
The staff are the real secret sauce though. Everyone is knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely happy to be there. They treat you like family in the best way possible.
I work out of the space most days, and it honestly feels like I’m just hanging with friends while getting things done. Toledo is lucky to have a spot like this.
Can’t say enough good things about it. Absolute gem.

I am always willing to pay more for ambiance, and creative menu options. I love the vibe. My Whiskey Business latte (ordered “less sweet”) was perfection. I also had Chicken & Blue cheese sandwich with waffle fries. The portion sizes were perfect for a medium sized person. I was so happy to find that Toledo had such a trendy and upscale spot.

Their lattes are some of the best in the city!! I love the unique flavor combos they come up with and that they make syrups in-house. All the staff are super nice! Its also so cool inside, definitely a great spot to hangout with friends or get some work done. Plant lovers will appreciate it too!

I was super excited to see this inside garden space. Upon walking in, I was happy to finally see it in person. Lovely space, great decor. Every nook and cranny is used. Seating everywhere.
This cafe allows for members only spaces, providing great work areas. We approached the cafe counter. The black barista was super nice. Informative and the most welcoming. The barista that took my husband’s order was not willing nor able to provide information regarding the coffee notes without being pride open about it. You gotta know your beans to sell them. Also, their pastries are ridiculously priced.
This isn’t a “if you’re broke say so” moment either. $8.50 & $9.00 for a croissant is madness!! In what world? Not even the better bakeries in Montreal nor France would ever charge that much for a mediocre pasty. Being that the minimum wage in Ohio is $10.70 per hour, Earth’s own employees would have to work 30-60 mins to pay for a croissant. The staff themselves can’t afford to eat there. Will most likely not come back for the cafe. Glad I saw the lovely space that has been established…but the pictures I originally saw of the food was not at all what we encountered. One star for the plants & one star for the nice black barista.

The worst visit yet. This was mone and my daughts absolute Favorite spot for awhile now but it seems they are going down hill. Menu doesn’t list all ingredients on the menu items, so when i ordered my $16 one slice avacado toast with an egg added on top it came looking loaded, full to the edges and beautiful! Except for the TOMATOES that were NOT listed (my daughter double checked) as an ingredient and being allergic I had to had to have it remade. So when the remake came back there was barely any avocado, hardly any greens and the tiniest egg in the center, all edges of the taost were visible. Not at all like the first loaded $16 toast. So it seems I was punished for them not putting tomatoes as an ingredient on the menu. Extremely disappointing. Not to mention my daughter’s Americana was very weak in flavor and boldness. Unfortunately we will be thinking twice on weather we will visit this beautiful Cafe again. Heartbreaking really and utterly dissatisfied and disappointed in being cheated out of a $40 brunch due to their lack of information and my allergy.

When I walked into this café I immediately felt welcomed by the front staff. Olivia was my barista. I asked for a lavender London fog iced obvi and it was super amazing. She was super friendly & super talkative. She even recommended some breakfast dishes that were her favorite. I ended up having a wonderful drink and an amazing breakfast. This place is card only. Love the plants vibe.

My husband and I came to Earth Coffeehouse just over a week ago and we could not recommend it more. The plants drew me in, the experience will keep me coming back. The customer service was great, the lattes were great, the food was great, the treats were great. It’s now my favorite coffee shop; so unique and there’s beauty all throughout it from the flooring, walls, artwork, furniture/layout. We did a little Bible study and didn’t feel a bit out of place or judged in any way. If I had one word to describe it, it would be peaceful. Ps: give their Instagram a follow; businesses on mission like this are such a gift to our city!

This charming coffee shop feels like a secret haven, tucked away in an old warehouse. The entrance through the back door adds to the intrigue. Inside, you’re greeted by an earthy and inviting atmosphere, with warm wood tones, exposed brick, and lush greenery adorning the walls. The space is thoughtfully designed with a mix of seating options, from high-top tables to cozy sofas, and even a private members’ area with nooks for focused work or relaxed meetings.
The vintage-meets-trendy vibe is further enhanced by the curated artwork and the inclusion of books and games for leisurely enjoyment. We opted for a table and settled in for a delightful conversation, after thoroughly exploring the unique space.
The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff. The concise menu offered a satisfying selection of coffee and non-coffee beverages, alongside a tempting array of flavor add-ins. I opted for a classic coffee with cream, sugar, and a touch of hazelnut, which was perfectly brewed for the chilly day. A small selection of snacks was also available.
Overall, Earth Coffee Shop is a true gem for coffee lovers and those seeking an interesting and unique ambiance. I highly recommend it.

I was really excited to finally visit this place. The atmosphere and vibes are amazing, was perfect for meeting my friend who is also a plant lover. Our coffees were great albeit my friend had to have hers remade after she directly asked for decaf. We were also extremely disappointed in the quality of our food, which after a lengthy wait, was cold. Not very appetizing although I wasn’t surprised based off of other reviews but I was hopeful maybe we would luck out. I will definitely be returning for coffee but hope these reviews will reach someone who can help them improve their food service.
