I walked by this place a few times and decided to try it. It was not overly busy as I was able to pick my seat. The waitress quickly helped me and took my order. She even approved of my food selection. Food and drink. I ordered Apple Pie coctail and Fried Chicken and mash potatoes with a salad. I have to say, the chicken was seasoned very well. Mashed potatoes was smooth and seasoned too. I definitely recommend Early Girl Eatery.

Visited Asheville for the first time today, and our first meal was here. I ordered the tofu scramble and a side of tempeh and a spiked coffee (vegan Baileys). The scramble was good and seasoned well. However, the tempeh had room for improvement it was honestly bland. The scramble comes with vegan toast and home fries. However, when my plate came out, there was a biscuit that was not vegan. Our server took care of it immediately and replaced it with the vegan toast. My friend ordered the Charlestown chicken and biscuit and enjoyed it.

We decided to eat here because of all of the Gluten free choices. Most gluten free dishes in restaurants are bland and have no flavor. This was such a pleasant surprise. I had the meatloaf, my daughter had the fried chicken, and my other daughter had the fried fish and chips. It was full of flavor and yummy goodness. We are all full, satisfied, and have leftovers. I also treated myself to the mimosa flight…also delicious. I gave this place a 5 star with everything because everything was awesome. The server was on point. She was attentive but not overly attentive. She was sweet and knowledgeable about the food she served. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the food was killer. I would totally come back again.

Delicious breakfast! My veggie bowl was very yummy, my husband loved his pulled pork tostadas too. We also tried the GF banana bread pudding, unbelievably GOOD!!! Our waitress was very nice and the service was prompt. We would definitely eat here again! Lunch menu looked to have LOTS of GF options too

As usual, nothing disappointed us. We were seated instantly, which has never happened. A bit of a wait on food, but well worth it. Best grits I’ve ever eaten. Pleasant staff. Clean restaurant. I had 2 mimosas before our food and forgot to take picture until I ate half of it.

We had brunch on Saturday and we loved the food. The services is friendly and efficient, regular coffee refills while waiting for the food. They have vegan and gluten free options, and variety of GF deserts. It was crowded and a little bit loud due to building structure.

We tried Early Girl Eatery for the first time this weekend. It did not disappoint. There was something for everyone. They even had delicious vegan options. I opted for the goat cheese omlette and the bloody Mary, both were great. This place is larger than it looks, but busy. You may have a short wait and they do not seat incomplete parties, which is totally fair. While you wait, check out the nearby candle shop, you’ll love it. Don’t forget to take a photo by the famous Asheville icon, the iron. It’s down the sidewalk. The food is great and there are tons of cute shops along this street. Definitely check it out, you won’t be disappointed.

Went by the reviews but totally disappointing! We ordered the biscuit French toast and the honey chicken burger ! The biscuit French toast was nothing living the hype! Almost burn biscuits! Okayish taste! Burger was good but the fries on side were pathetic! We left them all . They were stale and burnt and taste bitter! Definitely not recommended! Server was disinterested too!
