I’ve been coming to Early Bird for over 25 years, and it’s one of those rare places that never disappoints. The food is consistently good, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere feels like you’re walking into a place where you belong.
The staff is incredible — friendly, efficient, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell this is a true local favorite. It’s the kind of spot where you grab a cup of coffee and end up staying longer than you planned because you run into someone you know or strike up a conversation at the counter.
My client was hungry and ordered the ham steak this last visit… and let me tell you, it’s massive. He couldn’t even finish it and had leftovers for a couple of days. If you’re hungry, this is your place.
If you’re looking for a real, down-to-earth breakfast spot with great food and even better people, go see for yourself. Early Bird has been part of this community for decades — and once you go, you’ll understand why.

So I’m in this place having lunch. Food is awesome and all the sudden this old man comes in and needs help. Apparently he was hospitalized in town and had no way home to Quartsite, our waitress Jen was helping him trying to get a ride fron the senior ride people but it doesn’t run right now. So bummer right? No next thing I hear the manager ( maybe owner ?) Josh say I’ll give you a ride. He says be here in the morning and I’ll take you. The old man offered to pay him but he declined and said he’d be happy to. These people are freaking awesome. We’ll worth the visit, oh yeah the food is really good too. But the genuinely good people working there make all of it that much better. Thanks to Jen, great waitress, and Josh both just plain old good people.

The Early Bird Coffee Shop is a remarkable cafe that exudes the warmth and charm of a country-style eatery. The service is top-notch, and the staff and employees are incredibly hospitable, making it a true gem in Parker, Arizona. The ambiance of the dinner is reminiscent of old times, but with a modern twist that makes it a unique dining experience. For breakfast, we highly recommend the Trough, which is simply divine and delicious. If you’re looking for great food and a friendly atmosphere, you must visit this cafe. Thank you!!!!

The waiter was not very friendly, the food was greasy and the bathroom and kitchen were filthy. I’m glad that I ate before going to the bathroom because you have a view of the full kitchen from
The bathroom and you won’t eat there if you see the mess and how dirty it is. The only good thing was that the food came out quickly.

A real old-fashioned cafe with a large counter space along with individual tables. Fast and friendly service. Good breakfast food.

This is a solid 4.5, chicken fried steak was hand breaded and is pretty good.
It came with a little bit too much gravy all over it The only negative is they don’t have home fries only hash browns.

I’m torn – absolute best breakfast around – but they don’t carry cream or “half and half” for their “just ok” coffee. Blueberry pancakes, bacon, eggs, country scramble, all great.

Haven’t been here in a while but newer reviews confirm that while the food is good the diner is stuck in time, in more ways than one. Some ways are good some not so much. Please update your diner and your ways.

Food was great so this is why they seemed super busy. Which causes them to be slow. Great if you have time to relax n eat n socialize. My mom loved it.
