We have not eaten here since it was Annettas. The food and service were both exceptional. We will definitely eat here again.

We are so happy to find this restaurant! The tasty veggie skillet and veggie omelet had fresh vegetables, crispy potatoes and a choice of toast or pancakes. Service was quick, and the restaurant is very clean with a nice atmosphere. We will be back.

We decided to stop at this cozy caffe after church. The service was great, very speedy. The food was absolutely delicious, the fresh fruit was great and a good serving size. I got the biscuits and gravy which were very soft and the gravy was savory. My son got a strawberry shake and he said it was PERFECT! My husband got the green chilaquiles with meat, he really enjoyed the flavor. Would definitely recommend and I will be back to try a new dish.

The restaurant’s owner would know what quality of food and service his restaurant would have to offer? Or instead of calling it “Early bird Restaurant” should it be called “Order what you want, but eat what is served”? I ordered a Chicken Salad Croissant, without french fries with chips. with a cup of soup. The server brought me a bowl of soup!, the chicken Croissant with french . The croissant was frozen and old, she took the plate and removed the french fries and put tortilla chips on it. Because she said, “the only chips they had were tortilla chips and they don’t serve potato chips!!!.” … It seems that the waitress needs more communication and understanding, which is what the customer wants. Union Grove WI, is an area of farmers and visitors who expect to eat a breakfast and lunch with country flavor. I hope the owner pays attention to the service since this restaurant is on nice area.

My husband and I went here for a late lunch and each ordered an omelette. Both were delicious and came with a side of fruit and hashbrowns. The waitress was very kind, attentive, and hardworking. Food came fast and hot. Coffee was strong, which is the way we like it!

Fantastic restaurant. The service here is very friendly and family oriented. The owners of the restaurant have great values and hospitality. The food tasted great and had good flavor for breakfast. A decent amount of options on the menu to choose from. 10/10 I will be coming back again.

On the outside it appears to be a fairly decent sit down restaurant, however.. the prices are astronomically insane. They charge 8$ for 1 egg. $11.99 for just 4 plain pancakes that are very small in size. $4.75 for 2 small sausage links. Nothing for main breakfast entrees comes with any kind of side at all. Its $2 if you want to add cheese for anything. Please go see for yourself that these prices are incredibly high. Wont be returning here again.. had my $3 terrible tasting coffee that only provided fake sugar and creamer. Will never return again. 1st time and my last. I advice seeking another place. Paper menus with stains and scratched out pricing with new pricing written over them. Seems like a food borne illness establishment.

Ok as honest as i can be. First trying to be a high end place with high prices. First $3 for two sausage links that had a funny taste French toast for the price my kid walked away hungry very disappointed. Next $1 up charge for only 1 piece of gluten free toast , i’m not one to complain but , food came out very fast but was luke warm not hot. Breakfast isn’t anything special, $18 consist of my veggie egg plate , toast and sausage links. And my wife’s breakfast was not hot either. I don’t want to complain but we tried it just looking for something new , but when i can get breakfast with portions that leave me full and taste good with a 20% tip and with tip costs me $18 there is something wrong. We did not penalize waitress as we did leave 20% as she did come often to our table , but i drank ice water as i’m diabetic or my bill would have been more. Your place is nice inside, you have a good thing there. But trying to be like gordon ramsay food , it’s not cutting it. Price wise we’re one in done , won’t get in my wallet again. Truly not as expected from some of your ratings. Obviously those people don’t realize what value and quality are. Menu is not impressive , sometimes simple and to the point is best. Was in a family business for many years Which would do $1500 in sales in just a 1 hour lunch hour and that’s when a cheeseburger was $1.75 Take this review and really appreciate it. 3 places i went to that had been in business that had problems i said would not make it 2 to 3 years and all closed within a year of me being there and i called it on all 3. Good luck to you , big changes in food & menu and pricing is needed and your breakfast links are horrible chose a different brand.

Stopped at the Early Bird Cafe Saturday morning, 5/25/24 enroute to visit friends. We ordered corned beef and hash with eggs along with the breakfast sampler with biscuits and gravy. The corned beef hash was phenomenal! The potatoes were firm / al dente, the corned beef was tender, and the cook finished it off perfect with the right amount of crisp. It’s been a really long time since we last found corned beef hash with balanced flavor and most importantly texture (versus mush). 5 stars! Kudos! The sampler breakfast was excellent as well. The biscuits and gravy have good flavor and texture. The meats were evenly cooked and not dried out. Only reason for 4 stars on this dish is the gravy was luke warm when served. For the longer bit of time it takes the average person to eat a heavier breakfast with biscuits, piping hot gravy is a must. The service was excellent! The food arrived less than 10 minutes after placing our order. The restaurant wasn’t packed but there were a good number of tables sat. They did a phenomenal job keeping coffee cups topped off at every single table and checked with diners often for anything needed. This restaurant is not close to where we live but we will be making this a destination whenever out and about around the area.
