Small quaint cafe. Cute rooster decor, great food, & service. We like the skillet breakfast. Their orange juice is freshly squeezed. Hot chocolate has honemade whipped cream. You will probably have to wait to be seated. Usually not too long and worth the wait. I consider this place a must try! And we’re reoccurring customers!

So this is my second time coming to this place since the pandemic. My wife and I came in there before and it was packed lots of people there seemed a very inviting place. I come in there this morning right when they first open and I noticed right off the bat that the place is very clean and the atmosphere is very friendly. My waiter Misa was a very nice individual and professional. My only drawback would be the food that I ordered was not that good. Last time I came with the wife I had the breakfast skillet and it was amazing! But eating my steak that I bought I realized there was a lot of fat and Gristle on the side of the steak. Which kind of took away from the experience of eating steak and eggs. Also the hash browns I asked to be cooked a little bit crispy they were just a little bit crispy barely at all. The bathroom was very nice the only problem in there was it was incredibly small. So if somebody is bigger perhaps they would have a difficult time going in there.. overall the restaurant was nice. I drove to three different places to find a place that was open for breakfast. I was very fortunate to find this place. But the portion as well as the steak itself was average. I love the sausage links as they were huge! Definitely will come back again to see what the next adventure holds for me. Otherwise an okay place to eat if you’re hungry. Another thing for the price that I paid for the meal I expected a little bit better. Sorry for the lengthy review but I try to be as honest as possible. The one positive thing was the server was very professional and friendly and helpful. Just work on a couple of those things and I think overall the next experience will be even better.

Roosters will take over. This is popular spot for the early crowd, it is a small local favorite and space is limited.
When I first walk in I just get stared at because some of the staff does not speak English. It takes about 5 minutes before I am officially greeted. Someone just left as I came in but there might be a wait for a table at times.
The service and food were good. The fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing.

I just arrived at Early Bird to eat lunch. Their sign says they close at 3, it was 2:50. They informed me that the kitchen was cleaned up so they could leave at 3pm. I guess open until 3 doesn’t really mean serving until 3, it means serving until they feel like it, so they can leave at 3pm. I am a frequent customer of this place but they just lost me as a customer. I understand I was late and try not to be close to closing but I arrived prior to the posted closing time. Incredibly poor customer service!

The Skillet’s and French Toast are where this place shines! Great service in a small cozy environment. Quick service when you get seated. Sundays are busy so get there with time to spare because it’s worth it! Thank you for the memories and great food and service!

A Gem for Breakfast Enthusiasts
The Early Bird Café, located on the picturesque Orchard Lake in Michigan, is a bustling hotspot for breakfast aficionados. Despite a 25-minute wait time due to its popularity, the café offers a rewarding experience with its efficient service and delectable American breakfast options. The lively atmosphere is a positive indicator of the café’s high standards and community approval.
Even amidst the hustle, the service is commendable, with food arriving swiftly and staff maintaining a friendly demeanor.
It’s a must-visit for those seeking a hearty meal and a warm welcome.
The Early Bird in Northville is owned by their son in law and (from my point of view) a little bit better.

Newly moved to W. Bloomfield from Chicago. This quaint place is truly a neighborhood gem and should be protected at all costs. Anything that comes off the grill will be amazing. I get the Belgian waffle with fruit on top and side of Nutella and my husband gets the hobo skillet, every time. Although, I ordered the french toast the last time I was there and it was brilliant so I might start getting that instead. But what makes this place truly one of a kind is the genuinely friendly and attentive service in a non-pretentious environment that accompanies the fab food which is hard to come by these days.

I’ve been to this place plenty of times and it’s a solid place to get a good breakfast. The prices are fair, the service is always good and the wait is never super long. The food comes out pretty quick.

The food was not bad but unfortunately a little pricy for what i was getting. What i love about breakfast places is that i can mix and match things i love but i could not do that here without getting charged too much. Most likely wont be back for a while.
