My only critique is it didn’t feel like there was enough infrastructure for a new customer to know what to do. You almost need a host stand to explain the wait list and ordering process. Sometimes I refilled my own cup, sometimes it was refilled for me. Yes it’s new so I know the kinks are being worked out. Yes it’s super confusing. Felt a little lost in between ordering and sitting. The yummy food was worth it.
Excited to see Earl’s grow, and come enjoy the patio in warmer weather. We’ll be back!
Also not sure why there were so many staff lingering if you don’t even have a server.
We were mainly taken care of by a girl behind the bar and a women running food from the kitchen. I think it would be much smoother if there were actual servers!
It’s clearly a small space with a less convenient set up which can quickly cause traffic and ambiance issues if not controlled properly.
The food was overall really good quality and the queso was delicious!! Wayyyy too many fries though, the 3 starter options are all fries/totts and the only option for sides on the handhelds is tots and fries as well so your kind of forced to get potatoes even if u had the fries as an appetizer. Portions were great ! The Nashville hot sandwich had a delicious rub on it but was drowned out by the ranch (which was really good) .
The potential is definitely there, but there’s definitely some service/ atmosphere and menu kinks to work out! But for being open for 3 weeks I’d say it was pretty good!!
