The chicken club had decent flavor, but the sandwich itself was a bit dry and the bread felt harder than I expected. It wasn’t inedible by any means, just not as soft or moist as I prefer. Honestly, I was glad I ordered the soup because it helped balance things out and made the meal easier to enjoy.
The chicken artichoke soup was the highlight for me. It was warm, creamy, and had good flavor, especially paired with the crackers. That definitely carried the meal more than the sandwich did.
For the price, I personally would prefer Subway. I feel like I get more customization and better overall value there. It wasn’t a terrible experience, just not something I’d go out of my way for next time.
We ordered the Chipotle Chicken Avocado sandwich, Earl’s Ultimate sandwich, Holiday Turkey sandwich, Kid’s Grilled Cheese sandwich, Tomato Soup, and Chicken Tortilla Soup. Out of all the sandwiches, I’d say the Chipotle Chicken Avocado was hands-down the best one; the texture and flavor complemented each other, which brought a smile to my face. The Holiday Turkey sandwich was good, but I enjoyed Firehouse’s turkey sandwich more. However, on the flip side of things, I’d say that this restaurant’s turkey sandwich is much better than Capriotti’s, to which I feel their sandwiches are overrated (sorry, folks). The Earl’s Ultimate sandwich was amazing…I know some folks would comment, “It’s just a normal sub with a lot of meat in it.” And my response would be, “And having more meat in your sandwich is a problem, why?” Also, the veggies were fresh and crisp which added the perfect balance between all the ingredients. The Grilled Cheese was good, but for me, I enjoy the basic style of Grilled Cheese; nothing fancy…just plain cheese and slices of bread. The bread used on the Grilled Cheese was good, but I felt it was just too excessive for a kid’s sandwich.
The service was great; from the cashier taking our order, to the time it took to prepare our meal; all the way to the employee who brought the food out to us. The weather was nice so we ended up eating outside which added to the entire experience. The price-to-quantity/quality was reasonable, and I highly respect this business for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans – thank you for that! Overall, I highly recommend this franchise to everyone! I’m glad that Las Vegas has so many options to choose from and I’m especially grateful that I can partake in different sandwich shops across the city. Rest assured, I will be back to try some of the other items on their menu. This franchise is easily in my top-5 sandwich shops of all time.
P.S. — the guy who rang me up had a bad attitude. almost to the point of where simply interacting with him felt uncomfortable. young with black hair. not a huge deal because I’m there for food, not friendliness. but I might as well throw that in since I’m taking the time to leave a review.
P.S. again — they only have soda, which sucked because I’m not a soda drinker. whatever the two jugs by the napkins are meant to hold (maybe tea or lemonade) were completely dry and empty. The green tea on the actual soda machine dispensed water only, or else I would’ve gotten that.
I recommend people to eat here
They are respectful.
