We were two couple here for the first time. What a nice surprise from the moment we approached the venue. First it was in a very nondescript plaza but the patrons were lined up outside to enter. We were astonished. I checked in for our 7:15 reservation on Saturday night and they gave me a beeper. We were a little early but we were beeped right on time. We waited on the benches outside. The inside is very rustic – reminds me of a cabin – Brad , our waiter introduced himself and reviewed the highlights of the menu. We started with drinks, steamers and French Onion soup. All excellent. Then we had very delicious crab cakes- very little filler and generous portion which comes with two sides. I had broccoli and a baked potato. Our friend had the grouper special which she enjoyed and her husband had the pork chop but he felt that it lacked flavor.
The place was buzzing- it was crowded but we could still hear each other talk. Very bearable.
No room for dessert. We will definitely return to this neighborhood gem in Green Acres for a delicious and casual meal.

The main course were excellent. Best crab cakes we have ever had. My friend loved and enjoyed his pork chop. The appetizers were not good. Steamers were just plain bad as well as the clam chowder very watery with very little chunks of clams in the soup. And my other friend enjoyed his appetizer. I can’t remember the name of it something like a fried steak roll.

Exceptional food. The New Orleans (blue point) oysters are worth the money. We had the mussels fra diavlo and white wine with garlic. Definitely worth $5 to add pasta and a salad to make it a meal.

We had an amazing dinner here. The crab cakes were excellent. All crab meat and no fillers! Try them with the mashed potatoes and mashed sweet potatoes. A very good combo. My wife had the Asian glazed salmon and my dad had the pan seared cod. All were excellent.

I have been coming to Eagle Grill for years and it remains a delighted destination. The quality of the food is excellent, the vibe is wonderful – a local “pub” in America, and the staff is friendly, competent, and attentive. They are famous for their crab cakes, which are of very little filler. The fish dip is always fresh and tasty. The meat dishes are always superb. I always end up with some take-away.

Absolutely love the eagle grill and owner Peter. I’ve been going there for SO many YEARS. Unfortunately tonight we got the last 2 seats at the bar at 4:40 and I simply asked the amazing Shara to please change the television so we could watch the very end of an Illinois/Maryland basketball game when a Local “Cindy” turned into such a horrible human and God forbid she could share a simple amount of time from her Nascar which was going to be on until 7 o’clock and you couldn’t even watch it because that TV is so messed up. She made our experience so awful I’ll have to think twice about ever going there again. If we ever do I will make sure we are NO where near her. What a Shame…..she’s as ugly on the inside as she is on the outside.

The place has a wonderful Seafood Menu. Love the Oysters, they serve it really fresh. The fried calamari is so delicious, soft and tender. The shrimp fries are also so good. The bone marrow seasoning was great and served with the wonderful Garlic Bread. Should try the white bass fish fillets. The location is so great and lots of parking available. Just a few minutes from the Turnpike exit to the great restaurant.
