I ordered the hot dirty chai and it was really good. The espresso was strong and it was one of the best dirty chais I’ve had so far. I sat in one corner to do some work and though
The music was a bit loud and the place got crowded and busy, I was still able to do work.
Staff are really friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back with some friends.
I ordered the brown sugar caramel iced. It has an amazing taste from the first drink to the last, with a balance of sweetness aroma and taste, strong but not overpowering definitely very satisfying. Since this was my breakfast I also ordered the avocado toast, 2 large slices of sourdough bread with a combination of cream cheese avocado dandelion and I believe arugula, and finally a vinaigrette marrying everything, and giving it a delicious taste.
This place is definitely worth visiting.
I for sure going to come back.
Love their coffee and matcha! But this was unacceptable (just look at the pics)
Full Story: I went to Eagle Brew this morning and ordered two coffees, a bagel sandwich, and a bagel with cream cheese. I asked the guy at the register if the bagels had a good amount of cream cheese, so I can gauge if I need to ask for extra and he said that I should be fine. Our drinks came out immediately and the bagel sandwich came out a bit later, but my bagel with cream cheese took about 15 minutes to come out. When I unwrapped my bagel I didn’t see jalapeños, so we asked if this was a jalapeño bagel or if there was a mistake (the amount of cream cheese was almost the same as in the pictures, maybe a tiny bit more) So the barista said they could double check and re-make the bagel. By then it had been 25 minutes since placing our order. When I received the re-made bagel, it looked exactly the same as the first one only with even less cream cheese… (the photo shows what I was given) I was already late for work by this point, so there was no time to return. You gotta respect the SCHMEAR or at least give customers a heads up if this is how you serve your bagels. To me, the way it was served would not have been enjoyable to eat and would’ve been better off tossed in the trash. Luckily, during my lunch break, I found cream cheese at the local gas station and bought some. The bagel was delicious! Just wish it would’ve COME like that.
All in all I’m just bummed, cause this trip to Eagle Brew not only made me late for work, but left me with an empty stomach this morning :/
I was not disappointed, the place is cute, clean, and the staff very friendly.
I ordered an iced vanilla latte and it was so worth the cost, they are a little more expensive than Starbies but the quality is top notch!
I will definitely come back.
I also hope they expand to a drive thru location and closer to the West end of town. I would prefer to support local businesses than corporate chains.
